why do you say that? who are they guaranteed to pass?
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:03 PM ^
thats not correct and pretty funny considering how indignant you are about the length of a thread. TCU is not guaranteed to get in the top 16
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:03 PM ^
TCU doesn't get to 16 because MSU and UH stay ahead of them, but we get to 14.
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:07 PM ^
Ok, how about the only two realistic probabilities? 3 loss msu will drop below 2 loss tcu and houston is about to plummet without a single quality win. Regardless 143 responses for what is at most three possibilieties is absurd
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:13 PM ^
again why do you care about the length of a thread? are you required to read all threads?
also its not unrealistic that Houston who currently has a bcs score of more than twice that of TCU won't fall beneath them. I also give MSU a shot if they lose a close game.
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:18 PM ^
A 3 loss Baylor team is ahead of the 2 loss TCU team. So it doesn't seem that unrealistic.
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:25 PM ^
as long as there aren't any hanging chads involved...
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:34 PM ^
Well baylor didn't just lose its last like msu/wisco would have and the computers love the big 12 which is how baylor is so high anyways. And i'm not complaining about the length of the thread, clearly i am adding to it i am just saying its overkill for what isn't an overly complicated discussion and is probably confusing a lot of people

I'm sorry, if LSU loses to Number 14 Georgia they should drop more than 1 spot to number 2. That's the risk you assume when your conference institutes a championship game.
December 3rd, 2011 at 5:59 PM ^
Any scenario where UM gets in if OU upsets? As a KSU grad, I am rooting for OU, (they will get split of conference champ). I don't think OSU would still get in would they?
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:00 PM ^
For this halftime show, can I pick asteroid to win?
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:04 PM ^
i think texas is toast...
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:06 PM ^
I bet LSU takes it to GA in the second half. I don't think GA will score a TD again in the 2nd half and LSU should score 7 to 21 more points.
My prediction LSU 24 - GA 16!
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:09 PM ^
you're expecting a lot out of the honey badger in the 2H.
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:47 PM ^
Good call.
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:16 PM ^
Baylor is going to get a bigger boost from beating Texas just because of the rankings. Texas should not be ranked, they did not do anything to deserve it.
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:20 PM ^
Damnit!
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:28 PM ^
HAI GUYS, DONT WORRY, IF MICHIGAN IS TOP 14 THEY GET AN AUTOBID SO I THINK WERE IN NOW CUZ HOUSTON LOST, RIGHT?
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:28 PM ^
Lsu has a chance to tie or go ahead w/o having a first down.
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:29 PM ^
I'm conflicted
I know that it would help us if Georgia loses, but I just can't see LSU playing for the national Championship if they lose here.
After all, they always penalize you more for the more recent loss.
LSU gets a first down and a touchdown
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:29 PM ^
on the punt return. seriously a forward pass??? overanalyze much? the angle is bad. no one in their right mind could overturn that call.

I wonder if the replay officials didn't get the view of him tossing the ball before crossing the goal line is because CBS is a corporate shill for the SEC.
Bleh, I want Mich in the BCS but Bama vs. LSU in the NC game is going to be terrible like it was the first time they played.
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:46 PM ^
If your conspiracy theory were true, they'd be trying like hell to get UGA the win so that three SEC teams could make the BCS.
December 3rd, 2011 at 6:51 PM ^
I dunno guaranteeing a SEC national championship seems more valuable to CBS. If LSU loses it's no sure thing that 3 SEC teams get into the BCS and I'm not sure the extra team in the BCS is valuable to CBS anyway.

I am confused. Can't wait until we know for sure what bowl we go to. Go Blue!!!!
December 3rd, 2011 at 7:16 PM ^
I wonder why Georgia keeps running that play where Murray runs around and then lays on the ground. Doesn't seem particularly effective...
December 3rd, 2011 at 7:35 PM ^
Looks like Michigan is in if LSU's Defense holds!!!!!
If OSU beats OU is there a chance we could play KSU in the Fiesta Bowl? My wife is a KSU grad and it would be kind of fun to have a civil war where we finally root against each other...but then again may be not?

We all will have a sweet tooth come bowl announcments....G.B.O,D
