I'm certainly not complaining but I thought they put games that may produce higher ratings in the 3:30 time slot. Is that not the case? Aside from people in the midwest this game isn't going to attract too much national attention.

They are probably hoping for a repeat of last years Mich-Ill game. I know I'm certainly not rooting for a repeat... I know this doesn't pertain to the thread, but I got a REALLY good feeling that the defense shows up something fierce for this game. Gotta feelin...
November 11th, 2011 at 12:51 AM ^
yeah you're probably not far off with that feeling. Illinois hasn't been scoring much lately and our defense has been improving on a game-to-game basis throughout the course of the year. Home field advantage will probably give them some help but in the end I think Michigan wins 35-14, something in that area.
November 11th, 2011 at 8:45 AM ^
Illinois hasn't been scoring much lately
Ugh, all the more reason to expect them light it up tomorrow.
November 11th, 2011 at 9:32 AM ^
Many were predicting mich to win by multiple scores. u really think after last weeks bs offensive gameplan that we win by 21?
November 11th, 2011 at 2:40 PM ^
Illini defense is rock solid. I expect the game to be low scoring.
November 11th, 2011 at 8:02 AM ^
It's Michigan fergawdssakes.

Michigan fergodsakes!

LSU game according to the color key....
November 11th, 2011 at 12:46 AM ^
I thought that too. Except in reality no one wants to watch LSU play Western Kentucky this week. WKU will be anything but Hilltoppers in this game, more like Hillbottomers.
November 11th, 2011 at 12:56 AM ^
It should be a dandy right!....

Why are there little specks of ABC in texas and florida?
November 11th, 2011 at 12:51 AM ^
Those specks are the Michigian and Illini millionaires.
November 11th, 2011 at 1:42 AM ^

as well as Galveston Bay and Lake Ponchartrain, I'm thinking those are areas without coverage, lol

to take off his shirt? I doubt that the shirt was tight enough to impede his slapping.
November 11th, 2011 at 7:37 AM ^
I still don't understand why he slaps the kid. Talk about a short fuse...
November 11th, 2011 at 7:45 AM ^
the kid that got slapped was all "I am telling you, Brady Hoke can't point." He actually kind of had it coming.
November 11th, 2011 at 9:21 AM ^
Sure if you're being sarcastic or not but he slaps the guy because his buddy beside him makes it seem as though he wacked him on the back of the head.
November 11th, 2011 at 9:25 AM ^
the whole thing was staged.
November 11th, 2011 at 10:57 AM ^
You're right. Looks like he slaps the kid on the hand/arm.
November 11th, 2011 at 2:09 PM ^
Agreed. The guy that gets slaps flails in a very WWEsque manner.
November 11th, 2011 at 8:02 AM ^
After watching that video 40 times and laughing the whole time, I think it was staged. You see the dude on the right tap the slapper before he takes care of business. What is that from?
November 11th, 2011 at 11:11 AM ^
Beyond the fact that who would be filming that, and the wrestling shirt take off, look how the "victim" fails his arms after getting hit....to conveniently break his fall. 5 fakes out of 5.
November 11th, 2011 at 3:19 AM ^
Odds that the game will be streamed on espn3?
November 11th, 2011 at 6:38 AM ^
If the game isn't on ABC, it's on ESPN3.
November 11th, 2011 at 9:24 AM ^
The game is on espn3 anytime that it's on espn or espn2. If there is regional abc coverage of a game, espn3 is blacked out in those areas but is available for those regions that get the game on espn. So no espn3 if you live in yellow but yes espn3 if u r in purple
November 11th, 2011 at 5:17 AM ^
Western Kentucky will be able to watch Michigan-Illinois if it gets really ugly at home....4 PM start down there, I think.
November 11th, 2011 at 8:11 AM ^
Is the basketball game on big ten network tonight or just streamed? I see on Mgblue.com it says televised. I was hoping to watch some basketball tonight.
November 11th, 2011 at 12:07 PM ^
just streamed. Its on Big Ten Network monday at 430.
November 11th, 2011 at 8:19 AM ^
who has the call for the M game. I have been searching for it cannot find it. I bet ABC still does not go who is going where. They would never admit it, but I bet there has been consideration to Brent and Herby calling the PSU game.

According to the game notes:
Play-by-Play - Mike Patrick
Color Analyst - Craig James

For future reference, Awful Announcing runs a full list of each week's announcers. Musburger and Herbstreit are covering Oregon-Stanford. Urban Meyer will be at the Penn State game:
#19 Nebraska @ #12 Penn State (Noon ESPN) Dave Pasch, Chris Spielman, Urban Meyer
. . .
#7 Oregon @ #4 Stanford (8PM ABC) Brent Musburger, Kirk Herbstreit, Lisa Salters

Interesting that most of Nebraska (oustide Omaha and Lincoln) gets TAM & K State. Of course, that is only about 1,321 people.
