MGoPodcast 3.1: Sherpas At The Bottom Of The Sea
It's a podcast! Please bear with us as we get our bearings, sans Tim and, this week, Jamiemac, in a strange new environment.
TOPICS!
The Western Michigan game. What we liked, what we didn't like, how wet we were (me: very, Ace: not at all), that one run Fitzgerald Tossaint made, and more.
The press box situation. (~19:50) Ace was there, and with the help of several sherpas managed to make his way to John Bacon's seat. Also up there: Drew Sharp. Intriguing.
Notre Dame. Brian Kelly's exploding head, Michael Floyd, not being the favorite, and Notre Dame's inherent Notre-Dame-ness.
The usual links:

- What's with the theme music?
Next week: more!
UPDATE: if you were a very eager beaver you got only half of it. It's now full.

The general feed and direct download links are broken. Real versions:

Thanks for posting the working links! The general feed link is the only way to make the podcast work with google listen. Which if anyone is not using, is a great podcast manager.

Fixed.

Not sure if this is universal, but my iTunes of MGoPodcast does update. Even tried re-subscribing.
Edit: Oh, and awesome for bringing the podcast back! Yes!!!

I also tried resubscribing and it's not updating the podcast.

I'd really like to see this podcast thing become weekly, at least during the season, maybe a NSD one, and monthly roundup in the offseason. I know thats asking a bit much though...

Possible Result/Cautionary Tale
You might end up doing that Adam Sandler comedy bit from his CD where he can't stop peeing.

Ace easily has the best radio voice to come across this blog. Good dude.

I'm getting a page not found error on the direct download link.
September 6th, 2011 at 7:09 PM ^
The I-Tunes link doesn't have this episode, and the direct download leasd to a "page not found" error.

I feel like I'm going to end up listening to this on repeat for the entire drive to the game from Madison to Ann Arbor.
Which is fine with me.

I am still having issues also - anybody know what's up???

Brian rules! Doesn't take himself too seriously, best thing about him.
Ace you were nervous but did a fine job anyway. Relax and have fun...your job is all about fun anyway. Maybe you'll be the straight guy to Brian's cut-up character...you had a little of that going on.
Looking forward to more of these...WIN OR LOSE!!

Brian seems on the verge of breaking out in laughter the whole time. I love it!

Great stuff. Thanks for getting back to these - they make my longer runs more enjoyable.
I laughed when I heard Bacon was in Sharp territory. I could just imagine both of them having uncomfortable conversations about how they wound up there, with Sharp ranting about how the establishment was trying to keep him down and Bacon saying that he wrote a book showing how the athletic department at UM can be petty. Good times to be had by all.

That bit about Bacon and Sharp just piqued my interest for Bacon's new book. I can't wait to see what it was that got him relegated to the back row.

Still no iTunes...

iTunes says the URL cannot be found on their server. Just letting you all know, I imagine this is an iTunes issue.
