05/05/2017 - 1:44pm What about Judd Lattimore at Holy Cross?

He was a former OC at Michigan, he played at UNC and he has run a D1 program.

01/11/2017 - 6:23am Keith Washington

I have been waiting for him to break out!

10/01/2016 - 3:39pm Let's Go Blue!

Down with the Badgers!

09/17/2016 - 2:35pm Let's go Blue!

This should be a step up in competition, so I really am curious how the defense handles Colorado's tempo and athleticism.

04/10/2016 - 2:52pm Just got back from the game - observations

Rutgers clearly had more talent and depth, but the biggest difference was the coaching. There were several points at which there was confusion on the bench about who to bring in (that should not be happening at this point in the season). I think that JP is a good dude, and he should be complemented for his contirbutions to the program, but we strongly need to consider a coaching change if we want to start winning. Plucking a talented assistant from a traditional power like Hopkins, UVA or Syracuse would be the road that I take.

The lax parents were very welcoming, and they really represented their sons and the UofM well. In fact, there was quite a Michigan turnout today!

03/07/2016 - 11:46am Do the Freedom Trail / advice on Fenway

You cannot leave Boston without seeing at least a little of the Freedom Trail.

Also, plan on getting to Fenway early and taking in the scenery outside of the park. It reminds me of Wrigley (it is so alive before and after a game). I always like the standing room on the Monster or the Budweiser Porch in right. If you are going the seat route, the Bleachers are a great place to have a true Fenway experience (Esp. if you are in RF behind the opposing team's bullpen). Make sure that you are in your seat in the middle of the 8th for Sweet Caroline (it is pretty neat to be a part of).

Enjoy and Go Blue!

02/17/2016 - 12:06pm Michie Stadium for me

There is so much history up at West Point, and it would be great to see a game there when the leaves are turning in the autumn.

02/08/2016 - 1:42pm I did not see Reon Dawson on the list

Was that an error, or is he another guy who is leaving?

01/29/2016 - 4:05pm Everyday is Beat OSU day

It is my favorite Michigan shirt.

01/29/2016 - 3:52pm Looking forward to it!

I will be sporting my "Worst State Ever T-Shirt" to root on Michigan. I registered at American Whiskey for the alumni party, and then will be going back to MSG for hockey! I have seats down in the lower level in the Alumni Association section.

See you there.

Will there be a pep band?

11/29/2015 - 2:35pm Good for DJ if true

He did a good job for us, and he gets to realize a dream. The Harbaugh tree continues to sprout, and we will get someone good to replace him. Maybe a LB guru?

10/17/2015 - 3:18pm Go Blue!

Looking forward to the radio call! Let's get it done, Wolverines!

10/10/2015 - 4:07pm Keep your foot on the gas, Michigan

A long, soul-crushing drive for a TD is what we need here.

09/27/2015 - 12:29pm I

I will be there with 9

09/26/2015 - 1:16pm I love our WRs

They block like noone else!

09/26/2015 - 1:04pm Hello Smashmouth Football!

Wear 'em out, boys!

09/12/2015 - 3:10pm You win the internet today!

You, sir, win the internet today!

09/03/2015 - 8:21pm Really looking forward to what this coaching staff can do

I am cautiously optimistic about the season (7-5 seems like a reasonable floor), and I think his past performance augers well for all Michigan fans and alums. It seems like its been a while since this team has been mentally and physically tough, and all signs point toward Coach Harbaugh and his staff being able to improve the team as the season moves along. Good luck, Wolverines!

05/12/2015 - 1:12pm My vote is for Sunhine Hydrox

But that is becuase my great-great grandfather, Jacob A. Loose, invented the Sunhine Hydrox Cookie and the Soda Cracker!

04/04/2015 - 12:58pm The play of the DBs has me excited

I love the tight coverage, and Hill, Thomas and Watson look like they could be functional players next year.

Dienhart's projection of 7-8 sounds about right given the O-Line and lack of explosion at RB. It will be fun to watch a team that gets better as the year goes on.

02/12/2015 - 9:49am Patrick Kugler

He is bigger than Miller, and he is a line coach's son. With Harbaugh and Drevno in tow, I think he could bust out this year.

12/28/2014 - 4:48pm Here is one

What is something that you learned coaching in the NFL that will make you a better college coach?

12/27/2014 - 5:00pm Come home, Jimmy!

If Harbs comes home, it could reopen our California recruiting, and a Durkin hire could give us someone of the staff who knows Florida recruiting. Both would be realy welcome additions.

11/12/2014 - 1:54am Tim Murphy at Harvard

He's a heck of a coach, and he would be popular with Schlissel.

11/08/2014 - 7:05pm Hell No!

That guy is a prick, and Bleacher Report is totally unworthy as a source.

11/08/2014 - 6:45pm Someone get Frank Clark a drink

What a game by him!

11/08/2014 - 6:07pm Did Mattison start drinking in game?

What the heck has he been thinking on this drive?

11/08/2014 - 5:49pm Great defensive series!

Let's go offense!

11/08/2014 - 5:46pm Put in Shane

Gardner does not have it today.

11/08/2014 - 5:36pm TD!!!!!!!!!

Wooo! Hoooo!

11/08/2014 - 5:22pm Mike Patrick must be hammered

His errors are piling up like Gardner INTs!

11/08/2014 - 4:55pm Nice 2-iron by Wile

This game could still be going tomorrow.

11/08/2014 - 4:49pm Good job, Godin!

The D came to play today. Maybe, we can get a FG!

11/08/2014 - 4:06pm Where is the TE in the offense?

It is too bad that Nuss cannot scheme to get one of our best players, Jake Butt, the ball at least 5 times a game.

11/08/2014 - 3:31pm Let's go blue!

Take care of business, boys!

11/01/2014 - 4:01pm Count de Money

Good play, big fella!

10/28/2014 - 7:28pm When Maryland joined, I thought the whole league would go to UA

It just makes sense.

10/16/2014 - 3:08pm Not seeing anything on the livestream

Is anyone else having trouble?

10/11/2014 - 7:09pm Pick it up, defense!

This start is not good.

10/05/2014 - 12:25am I was at the game in NJ

Michigan's running game was better than what I saw all of last year, and it seemed like Mattison just had a really tough night. Rutgers' OC took advantage of him, and they are just going to have to accept that not enough pressure is generated by this front to play aggressive on the corner. Also, the safeties were atrocious.

For such a small stadium, it was suprised how loud it was. Generally, the fans were respectful, and I enjoyed the experience. It was criminal that Michigan did not bring its band, as there would have been plenty of room for them in either corner opposite the corner, and we did not even bring a small pep band. That is a major failure for the AD given how many Michigan alumni live in the NYC area.

The MSU game will be ugly.

10/03/2014 - 9:08am Dining options

Near campus (Easton Ave.):

Check out Stuff Your Face (This is where the stromboli was invented, and where Mario Batali got his cooking start. Also, the 64-ounce margaritas are famous).

The Harvest Moon, which is near the train station is a good place for a beer and dinner.

My favorite place is about five minutes from campus in Somerset (The Stagehouse Tavern).

10/01/2014 - 10:44pm Contrarian suggestion

Tim Murphy (Head Coach at Harvard). He is 57, which is a little old, but not ridiculous. His teams are always well prepared, and he is great at making in game adjustments. This would not be a sexy hire, but I think it would be a good one.

10/01/2014 - 8:50pm We need Charlie Munger to come out against Brandon

Number 2 at Berkshire Hathaway would be a good ally, and I believe he just made a huge gift to the B School

09/27/2014 - 8:00pm How can the new president turn a blind eye to this?

Student safety needs to be job one, and it is clear that Hoke is not the right person to lead this team. Losing is a part of the game, but what I saw today was dishonorable and made me ashamed of my alma mater. Protect the player, Coach Hoke, and show that you have some sense of decency.

09/27/2014 - 6:00pm It is hard not to be impressed with Minny

They take advantage of opportunities, and they are well coached.

09/27/2014 - 5:52pm Cue the Yakety Sax

Warm up the bus even though we are at home.

09/27/2014 - 5:50pm Great Coaching there

The refs bail us out with a weak facemask call, and then the Offense takes a delay of game? This is brutal.

09/27/2014 - 5:43pm And the mass exodus out of the Big House starts in 3,2,1 ...

This has gone downhill fast in the third quarter.

09/27/2014 - 5:41pm Ed Carpenter just agreed with Brian and Ace

We are a basketball school.

09/27/2014 - 5:39pm Hurst, Ojemudia and Charlton have looked good

This is one small consolation today.
