Does Dennis Talbott work for Les Wexner (OSU Trustee)?
Mod Edit: I've added the post's text here and deleted the other thread. It's giving everyone problems.
Another MGoBlog member (GustaveFerbert) mentioned in an earlier thread that Dennis Talbott, the freelance photographer who allegedly has been paying TP to sign memorabilia, is actually Director of Recruiting and Staffing (or something like that) of Limited Brands. Can anyone confirm this?
The founder, chairman and CEO of Limited Brands is Les Wexner. Wexner is also a major OSU booster (he gave $100 million earlier this year alone) and is a member of OSU's Board of Trustees. He is spearheading a $2.5 billion fundraising campaign to boost their endowment over the next few years.

Wexner is good friends with Jim Tressel and, word on the street is, it was not until Wexner gave the nod that JT was finally told he had to resign. Is it possible that a principal player in the "memorabilia for benefits" scandal at OSU actually is a member of Les Wexner's management team?
Mod Edit: I deleted the LinkedIn profile. If people want to search, they can. [zl]
OP Edit: I think deleting the LinkedIn profile is a mistake. It's not like we are heavily pirating LinkedIn for any reason that is related to their business (i.e. networking). The portion of Talbott's profile that was posted here is critical to confirming this is the same guy. I think you should let it stand. IMO.
I am as well and I am on a Mac using Safari. Not sure why the issue is occurring. Glad I am not the only one though.
What, I got better...
on my Droid its crashing the app, even with the flash disengaged.
my MGoDroid app too...
can only get it to work on the iphone.
There's a post with an empty frame of an embredded picture that seems to have caused the probelm.
Mods, are you there?
Hello Mods, are you there? It's me William.
Not showing up right in Chrome either.
EDIT: Works fine on the Android app w/ Droid X
This site has been having trouble. This morning I posted a heads up that I got a warning that a threat was blocked. The weird thing is that it only happens when I log in on my desk top using Firefox. Using Chrome on my laptop and have never been hit with anything.
There was a mod edit, would that do it?
True... a mod did take down a linkedIn picture. That probably did it.
Or the thread broke the site because it was just a little too stupid.
The last time this happened, someone copy and pasted something from Twitter, which screwed up the HTML.
It looks like http://mgoblog.com/users/wenham-wolverine tried pasting a Youtube video with an iframe, which probably broke something in the html.
win7 with IE9. I see the empty frame and can't scroll. Saw it once before a few weeks ago on another thread too, but can't remember which one.
Yeah, I'm on Firefox on a Mac. Partway down I can see an ad for the Mealer shirt and then it ends.
To be honest I thought it was just me. That thread had me breathing faster and clutching myself in an attempt to suppress my horrified glee--I thought perhaps I'd squeezed my own ribs too hard and had cut off my oxygen.
I posted on my laptop using IE and it shows in my post page but not on the thread....it's an OSU conspiracy
It's another youtube iframe. I wonder if the virus that was discussed the other day changes the source of the iframe to load it's virus.
Yeah, sounds like broken HTML. Maybe an element wasn't properly terminated somewhere.

I also replied to the OP but no indication of a virus yet
sorry.
I tried to embed a youtube video.
fwiw, the thread loads in its entirety on the iPhone app, just my post is all fudged up.
I wasn't trying to implicate you. I was just trying to give the mods a place to look.
right, I get that. I'm just pretty sure I broke it, too.
For what it's worth, I delete links to people's social media pages. To me, it's encouraging harrassment from the relatively small minority here who would do that. It's a judgement call and people will disagree, but I don't like it.
...the same guy. Here's what I posted on the other thread (minus any links to LinkedIn):
LinkedIn Dennis Talbott has a profile that says he was President, Strategia Retail Solutions, LLC from 2002 - 2007 and Director, Recruiting and Staffing, The Limited from 2007 - 2009).
His photo on his LinkedIn profile and his former position with Strategia is conclusive evidence that Memorabilia seller Dennis Talbott (photo taken from this story about the scandal) -- note the Strategia signage -- is also Former "The Limited" Talbott.
He was apparently unemployed/self-employed from some month in 2009 to Dec 2010. This is apparently when he tried his hand at full time memorabilia sales and freelance photography.
