I have said this after each of the Wings' three wins in this series, but you would NEVER see the Wings end a game like that. No cheap shots. No crashing the goalie. When they lose, they lose with class. Apparently the Sharks are unaware of a thing called sportsmanship.
I was even joking around with my coworkers who would pick a fight at the end of the game with Clowe being out. Thornton's name was mentioned. Bastards.
That was scary. A loss tonight would have been unbearable after outshooting them the way we did.

3 straight games San Jose had to think they were closing out the series, and 3 straight the Wings won it anyway. San Jose has to be demoralized, and they are notoriously the mentally weakest team in the league. Please, Lord, let us bring that kind of effort for Game 7.
I am so proud of this team. Champion's mettle. Incredible effort despite adversity like losing game 1 and 3 that they outplayed SJ in. (To be fair: we won game 5 that we were thoroughly outplayed in, as well.)
