Just gettin' a little pumped up about seeing a tall Michigan qb, cool and calm in the pocket and able to do things in the red zone that we expect as our birthright that Michigan QB's should do. It's been a while.
I'll be captain obvious here but If he can do this on a regular basis this completely changes the offense. Defenses will need to stay back for the pass and watch our running game suddenly improve dramatically.I feel like watching that TD and the two point conversaion I am finally seeing Michigan football again. Up until now I was seeing half Michigan football.
I just want to see one runback by him like that this season so I can watchon on espn over and over. Minnesota seems like a good candidate for such a run back.
up back in the day. Just rememebered I had this one last week. Upvote me to get me to the precious 100 where I can then myself get voting rights. It only took me a week to go from zero to 92.
too warm for tongiht. That's like what you wear down here on the plane from Michigan but within ten mins you take it off esp if you have thick Michigan blood and you haven't adapted to the FL weather. When I first moved down here from Michigan tt took about six months to adjust to the heat.
I'm in shorts in a sleeveless t shirt and it''s a nice fall night here in Tampa, probably exactly like a August night in southern Michigan.
No, wasn't specifically referring to your post, just a general consensus I have seen over the months regarding Malzone. We've got a lot of talented QB's lined up and yes O'Korn looks insane in his videos. Imagine if we had the ability to go deep against Utah and MSU, wow, game over by the second quarter.
We're knocking OSU's d*ck in the dirt and this bullcrap loss to Sparty is one of the driving reasons why I suspect we will, that and because history does have a way of repeating itself.
The guy has none of the flashiness, no speed but he's got the touch and seems from what I have seen of his videos to be very calm and smart in the pocket, very similar to Brian Griese. He's my pick to rise to the top at some point. Still think Gentry might be turned into a TE.
jumped early, the flag is there this stupid scrum is going to be done over right? No flag? About another 20 seconds elapsed and I turned it off. We lose our top tackler for being pushed on top of a guy, Sparty cheats in their very Dantonio way and it's just good to go? game over. Whatever.
Those losses left me in a daryl funk for days, weeks, months. This is an aberration, that's college FB. Next year we return with a serious passing game, no disrespect meant to Rudock but next year we have guys with two years of learning the play book, we'll see the offense open up and easily win these games our defense keeps us in now.
We'll beat those guys and I even think we'll win out. Did you want to go to the playoffs and be picked apart by a good QB/WR? No rdisrespect to Jake but next year we have some serious passers that will be starting our games, that will change everything. I'm more disappointed we let that big dumb fullback rumble down for a touchdown, that' to me was a bigger embarrasment than how it ended.
stressed how it rules all his time because it's his job, etc so it's what he believes in. I am not a history teacher but I do have a history degree and history has always been my way to view the world. I think only one first year Michigan coach beat Spaty, From that I was okay if we dropped this one. I also note what Bo did to the Buckeyes his first game in 1969 after they were coming off their championship season. Yeah it sucks now but my historical view of the world tells me we beat the Buckeyes this year. When that happens this will be forgotten
There are positive takeaways, maybe we'll keep Durkin for another year now. Maybe Michigan will be here in Florida for a bowl in which case I'll get to go. We weren't expected to go to the playoffs and probably don't have a QB for the playoffs but that will change in the future. A minor setback and overall a good corrrection in course. Did hatin #ss Spurrier give us the evil eye, that thought did cross my mind.
plus say 10% to stick around another year? Say.$.2.1 to 2.5 million? It's chump change if you consider the recruiting continuity on defense and not having a post Narduzzi MSU type situation.
Georgia snaps up all the best players then clemson and Bama too, The cocks are left to pick up the scraps. Were I going in there I'd go right down to Florida for most of my croots.
on grampas cough syrup too? Ah well, I will miss him, he's sort of the Harbaugh if his generation, a guy who could mold QB's who also said whatever he wanted or didn't want whenever he felt like it. An admirable character trait. I'll never forget how ballistic he went when playing Michigan and they gave us that first down when we were short about a yard.
faithful. I'm a guy down here in Florida (before that VA) who is a Michigan fan. Be thankful these Michigan faithful are all over the country and not some pathetic mostly regional fan base such as Clemson or even Alabama or LSU.

Agreed, AGP

situation. A big tall Michigan gunner back there nailing incredibly talanted receivers, Michigan football anyone?
If he is and can nail receivers downfield on a regular basis, a completely new dimension is added and watch that running game take off like a rocket.

He was likely the exception to that rule, esp on those 199 yd runbacks his senior year in HS.

broken arm one year. I see a big bounce back and beat down of the Buckeyes.
Or, something along those lines.
server down. Stupid dummy heads. Sorry, that's my mood right now.
Who cares what the ranking is when we beat the Buckeyes?

Coach Jim will have this team brething fire next year in E.Lansig due to this flub.

and be honest what they're really thinking: They look really good, I'm scared!. Hold me.

the list of items that'll get ya gone immediately.
the season this year. Win now or go.
last two years, in a youth obsessed television industry it won't be but a minute before he's "announcing his retirement."
coming in for Durkin, well a lot better than BG that is.
Georgia snaps up all the best players then clemson and Bama too, The cocks are left to pick up the scraps. Were I going in there I'd go right down to Florida for most of my croots.
He just feels like retiring.

I'd still lke to get him, th best players in Michigan play for Michigan.
the game against Sparty. I'm wondering if the other Kareem will come back into the picture since he was wanting to "win now" with Alabama.

will have to knock off TCU.
Each one of these undefeated means a dbag in our way for a playoff spot. C'mon Miami!
Yes, I rule! The King of the slow start!
