FYI You can test positive on a PCR for up to 3 months after having Covid. It can pick up the dead virus your body is still cleaning up. Even an antigen home test is not super accurate for telling if you’re all clear. Hopefully the 10 days will be good.
Just tell them you had it a couple weeks ago and they probably won’t make you test. Good luck!
To MattEM: Small suggestion - Can we get a caption on the lead photo? Especially for recruting posts, I have no idea who they are if not named. Thanks!
Children are a blessing for some people. And a curse for others. Don’t expect your singular experience to be true for everyone else in the world. I’m happy you like your kids. But a lot of people in the world shouldn’t be having kids. I used to think I wanted them because everyone told me I should. Thankfully I figured out for myself that I would have been very unhappy as a parent.
Teach people to know themselves, not just to blindly “have children”.
I got mine done end of October. Pretty easy all in all. Minor dull pain for a week. And I’m single and 46. Still date a lot, but realized I haven’t had kids and don’t want them. Best feeling ever since. Gotta do what’s right for you.
I’m here in Boston. Doc said to do the swimmer sample 3 mos after surgery. Is that the same advice the rest of you are getting?
Henry McKenna's 10 year single barrel is really good. I like the complexity of it. Just won the SF spirits champ for all whiskies. Only $35 but because of that, it's hard to find at the moment.
Another really complex affordable one I like is Nikka Whisky from the Barrel. It's Japanese, and I think both Bourbon and Scotch lovers will like. Flavors just bloom out of it. One of my favs I've bought in the last few years. $65 I think.
Honestly, last year it arrived so late, I didn't feel like there was really much value to it. There was analysis everywhere else for free (incl. this here site). And that analysis was about fall camp so I felt like I was getting more current news, almost everyday. I've bought it the last few years, but probably won't this year.
And because of the time to write/edit/print/send it, doesn't it make more sense to send it out May or June? Get people hyped in the dead zone?
Since we don't have nearly the level of Bagmannery that say, the SEC does, it actually makes EVEN MORE sense that our players would be skipping the last meaningless game. Their families haven't been getting paid since Senior year of high school.
I think we should be supporting skipping even more. Or ya know, just pay the players already.
well, yeah. I mean we're a bunch of fans with no insight into the actual team.
EVERYTHING on this board is specious. lol. we're all just spitballin' here. hahahaha
But yeah, who knows if it would work or not. But OSU has a passion about us that I don't see matched on our side. And that's just my single person's observation.
I don't disagree with any of this. Which then leads me to what should be a better choice for all Michigan fans. FUCK Ohio State. Stop crying about the losses to them every year because we're playing a different game than them.
Stop caring about Ohio State. But some Michigan fans will never be that introspective enough to be able to save themselves the grief.
And the administration won't ever move The Game because they too buy into the great cataclysmic rivalry every year.
We can't have it both ways: Want to beat OSU, but don't want to play their game. Either we do it our way and let them do their way, or we decide to sell our souls and play their game. It's Michigan's choice to make that decision and it always will be.
If you lock yourself into an eternal struggle with an opponent, guess what, you can unlock yourself.
That's what he says in public. And I'm sure he very much cares about the OSU game. BUT, isn't that kind of tepid public statement exactly the kind of tepid, stay-in-your-shell football we see from M every year when we play OSU?
First day of Lughnasadh! I'll probably do a little harvesting, make a bonfire, sacrifice a goat, drink some beer, and have sex under the stars! Thank you, great god Lugh!
There's a bunch of us here who don't even comment or post that much, and we not only enjoy all of the content you guys create, but feel a special connection having read your writing and listened to the podcasts.
So for all the comments you get on this post, assume there's at least 5x more who read it and haven't commented, but are sending good thoughts.
You are appreciated far more than you know. Trust in that in the dark times.
I forgot the /s at the end. But I am a little concerned that the cameras can be a distraction when our offense is already smoldering wreckage. It will be a very interesting watch in Jan 2018. I'll be curious how much insight we get into the coaches' MSU planning.
It's the documentary. He's being filmed constantly. He watched Last Chance U and doesn't want to come off as Bad Buddy. He knows what that crap looks like on film and it ain't good. I felt like this doc was a bad idea from the start. It's too much weirdness to throw into your football team.
Bando. Seriously though. What are your qualifications? Just that other smart people couldn't fix it so it's unfixable? At least answer the man's question if you're gonna go toe to toe with him.
So, Dany has plans for the Unsullied, Dorne, and Highgarden armies. But she never mentioned what she's going to do with all those Dothraki. Any guesses? Are they just going to terrorize the interior? Maybe they're all seasick...

Yeah this guy is a homophobe and a misogynist. He’s just yelling things. Lowest common denominator bullshit.

What’s the formula?
Thank you, Brian. Be well. Take care of yourself. You are loved and appreciated by more random people than you will ever know.

Big Willie and Bigger Willie
But Seth, *how* old is he actually?
You got ratioed, son
Bravo, good sir!!
Haha, yeah. I’ve got the cup they gave me after surgery. It’s just chilling out in my bathroom for another month or so...
Yeah, I only had one. Right in the middle on the seam. Easy access to both sides

Brian’s face when Kolesar mentions Matt Campbell at 22:40
Almost a spit take
moar bangs plz
So you’re saying you’d tap that virass?
The stock market is not the economy. People seem to forget this.
(not saying you in particular, just a reminder)
I found it at Total Wine & More. Not sure if there’s one near you. But I’m in Boston.

I like Eagle, but it's got some burn. I think it's 100 proof. So it's got some kick

Why is it not playing? Or sometimes it takes forever to start?
I keep assuming it's broken. Am I missing something?
"Secure the Bag" is different at Michigan

Ramzy and Urban Meyer agree:
https://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/ramzy-m-osu-rivalry-gave-me-some-satisfaction
I agree, but then what you're saying is: This game isn't as important to us as it is to them.
Because I think they would totally make that bargain every year.
Post mortem, man. That's what fan sites are for. If you don't like it, check out Reader's Digest

I agree. Ramzy's NYT quote was really about why OSU made the rivalry so important to begin with. And that they don't want any other rivals. Just us.
Do…
MI OPPONIMS or death!
Do you hear me, Other Bri/yan?? I will no longer read this column in future unless it is retitled MI OPPONIMS!!
Also, give the man above 10,000 points for sheer genius and being The Michigan Difference™
I concur. Bees are already dying. And they're great for all the pretty/tasty things in your yard. Save the bees!

No politics
Welcome to the 21st century, it's quite nice here.
You're so full of anger, it's not shocking you support the rebels. Maybe you should join Ole Miss' bandwagon.
