I think we have one of the more difficult big ten schedules. The teams we miss are ranked 8 and 9 by Lindy and most would agree with him. I think that the top six all miss out on playing someone from that group. That could be a factor. |

Iowa was 9-4 last year and won their bowl game and beat Penn State end of year. Wisky got destroyed (exposed) against FSU (and us) and lost more talent than Iowa if memory serves correctly. |
