RR supporters unite!

I loved the RR hire, have supported him all year, know he came with a basically empty cupboard, etc. As of this moment, the worst as a Michigan fan in my memory, I loudly proclaim my support in RR and have complete faith that he will get us back to being a perennial national power. I want this to be known so that in a few years, when we're again ruling the conference, I can make fun of all those who are currently calling for RR's head.

I am completely behind Rodriguez. Systems don't make great coaches, great players makes great systems. When he fills the holes on this team, which are MANY, the Michigan faithful will again see the winning program we have all become accustomed to. He and this staff had very little experience at most of the key positions on both sides of the ball. The entire O line was green, the RBs hadn't seen much action, the WRs and TE were freshmen and the QBs... well we all know about them. The secondary had experience with Trent, but that was it. I believe another offseason of Barwis, combined with another spring in the system and Forcier at QB and we will all be pleasantly surprised at what we see next season.

Count me in. He is too good of a mind and has a huge chip on his shoulder. Make that a boulder after this season! You can bet he will work his tail off to get us back up top next year. Oh yeah, it might help to have an actual QB. Not hating the guys who played their hearts out, but you know what I mean.

Best coaching job by Ara he'd ever seen was when Northwestern went 0-9. He did everything right that year, and that's tough when you're losing. Rod got dealt a bad hand and he's about to make it good and soon.

Nothing but love for R.R. I'll drink the kool-aid for three more years...if were still at the bottom of the Big Ten then I'll reconsider! Until then... IN RR I TRUST!

We need to see real results next year. This is where he proves how good of a coach he is. I've defended the hell out of Rich Rod this year to anyone who'll listen, but that's not gonna happen next year if we don't win 6 at least. He's on a short leash right now.

I'm a RichRod defender, too, but the problem next remains the biggest hole of them all--quarterback. I hope Forcier or Beaver can step right in, however keep in mind that once again our most important position would be in the hands of a freshman and a true freshman at that. Truthfully, I'll be happy with .500 next year, as long as the progress continues. If Forcier and Beaver can't beat out Threet, I'm scared! I also want to see RichRod at least given a few more years because 2010 is shaping up to have the potential for a monster recruiting class and if he's gone, they might bolt, too, and that would suck!

Rich Rod and his staff. I hope next year is more watchable and we can move the ball down the field. Tate or Shad will hopefully come in and make an immediate impact on the field or by pushing Threet. Minor is a huge play maker and should be better next year with an improved O Line.

nope.... iv watched every play from the team this year, so dont call me a fairweathed fan but rods a loser. michigan isnt gonna be great until hes gone. what an absolute embarssment to have that man on the sidelines. you guys are all in denial if you think the "great" barwis and a true freshmen qb is gonna lead this team back.

Dude.... I see you've been a member here for about 5 days, and this is the first time I've seen you post..... I really hope you joined for reasons other than posting tongue-in-cheek drew sharpe parodies, because if that's your shtick, it's gonna get real annoying real quick. Sharpe is an incompetent fuck who thinks that taking easy shots at an underperforming team in a rebuilding year constitutes good journalism. He's a hack, and isn't even worth parodying. Just sayin.

Love RR more and more all the time. We're going to get all the bad chemistry guys the hell out after this season and everyone coming back is going to be pissed and seriously motivated. Speed, toughness, Endurance, Speed I have a feeling our running game is going to be unreal next year even with an average line. All we need is a serviceable/accurate QB to allow RR & McGee to keep the other team off balance with a good pass/run mix. Next year 8 wins In two years we are going to be destroyers Three years NC

I will back Rich Rod through his first 3 years. It takes time to implement his offense and have the right personnel for it. I expect to get 6-7 wins next year and then 8-10 in his third year. If he does this he will be set and by year 4-5 he will compete for that NC!!!!

I have complete trust in Rodriguez's ability. In the very near future his Michigan teams will be a terror to behold. I hope every national and local commentator taking their potshots this year will have every one of those article thrown back in their face when they try to praise RR in the next couple of years.

looking forward to a powerhouse in two years. I think RR is the guy to do it if everyone will just step back and give him some time.
