I remember this scene from Titanic. |

You haven't seen the Chicago Blawkhawks play ice hockey this year. I wouldn't worry about the Wings having to face anyone in the Stanley Cup final. |
| 15 weeks 23 hours ago | and once they had that chance |
they brought in the closers: William McKinley, Grover Cleveland and James Madison. |
| 15 weeks 23 hours ago | Sammy Sosa |
Sammy Sosa agrees with your Lance Armstong-esque argument. If there is no evidence, then it can't be true. |

In Downton than in Nola. |

You know how it turned out for the most well known guy who had that done, right? |

Since I had civil procedure, but I imagine that this case will be removed to a federal court upon Maryland's move. Unless the ACC had agreed to make NC the situs for all litigation. |

I'd rather have Eddie Lacy than Kenny Lacy. |

At this point, I'm not sure if Conley is a reliable source. He was 100% committed yesterday. |

And hunch is that after face-to-face discussion, Mattison encouraged him to decommit and take his visits while making it explicitly clear that there was no guarantee of a spot in this class for him. |

| 26 weeks 3 days ago | Above avg defenses |
Given Denard's record against above average defenses, I think Gardner's unknown reaction is preferable to Denard's known reaction. I may be ugly wrong Saturday, but I'm hoping we see Devin take another step up. |
| 26 weeks 3 days ago | Wrong! |
I guarantee that Denard's remaining performances are tied to the discussions on this blog -- especially the amount if comments that focus on choosing one good outcome over another good outcome. |

He's not getting up from that kind of fracture |

You do realize that the best rye on the planet is made in Iowa, yes? |
| 29 weeks 3 days ago | If he couldn't damage it more |
Would he have really been a worse option? He's the only offensive threat we have. An offense consisting of QB leads and an occasional "oh no" could NOT have been worse than what I witnessed. |
| 35 weeks 5 days ago | Easy solution: |
Move. If you love Michigan sports on your tv, it's the obvious solution. |
| 35 weeks 5 days ago | By what objective? |
The same one that says that, objectively, Bernie Madoff was a good businessman? |
| 36 weeks 2 days ago | Haven't forgotten |
I haven't forgotten that Smith didn't do anything special on that play. It was designed very well, the pass was on the money (thankfully, or it would have been intercepted after it bounced off his hands), the blocks were great. To Smith's credit, he set up the blocks very well -- but that's a trait that ANY Michigan running back should have. Just because he succeeded there (what were his other big plays last year?) doesn't mean he's best man for the job. Maybe I'm still bitter about watching him drop a TD pass in Iowa City last year when I was surrounded by Hawk fans. |
| 36 weeks 3 days ago | Dee Hart > Vincent (Devin) Smith |
the fact that Vincent Smith is still on the field in any offensive capacity means there are at least some plays that would belong to Hart. I think it's awesome that Vincent Smith is tough as nails and gritty, but I like my running backs to be able to catch or juke somebody. |
| 36 weeks 3 days ago | As an Iowan, |
If you'd witnessed how Gene Chizek did Iowa State and his recruits there, you wouldn't feel bad for the guy at all. He made one hell of a mess and Iowa State was fortunate that Auburn wanted him. He's like Lane Kiffin with less winning. |

Brilliant analysis and a voice like Ron Burgandy. He will be missed. |
| 1 year 15 weeks ago | Kozan isn't done! |
I have faith that he has the ability to verbally commit to Auburn, Iowa and Michigan before sending his LOI to UCLA. |
| 1 year 15 weeks ago | Is it really snake oil |
when the kid "committed" to MSU only to hold a spot when Michigan said no? |
| 1 year 15 weeks ago | Meyer didn't |
think that it was fair that the other SEC coaches also used these tactics. |
| 1 year 15 weeks ago | You have to |
You have to respect a guy like Kozan who refuses to let Jordan Payton run away with the "Weirdest Recruitment" award. Obviously, overcoming Payton is an uphill battle, but Kozan can manage to miss a few more self-imposed commitment deadlines, he's got to be in the running. |
| 1 year 15 weeks ago | Yesterday |
Yesterday worked out perfectly. You've got the coaches of both division winners attacking the coach at Ohio while Mr. Hoke stays out of the fray. I'm 100% for this outcome. If the next few years consist of Meyer stealing Wisconsin and Sparty recruits and those coaches calling him a cheater -- I don't see how this doesn't help encourage kids with good character to end up at Michigan. |

especially true with Joe Pa's death. He'd been the last bastion of truth telling at all costs in the B1G coaching ranks. |
