NFLBITE.COM allows me to…

NFLBITE.COM allows me to watch all NFL games just fine

I did it for five years, and…

I did it for five years, and at that time was right for my family.  But as they grew older and got busier it was harder.  Three hour drive door to door.  The negatives are: 1) you feel compelled to use it frequently, so it keeps you from taking other vacations, and 2) you have to have really good neighbors to keep an eye on it when you're not there.  I had police officer who lived next door full time that I became friends with, so if I was absent for a while he would check it weekly.  He then moved and the next couple were part-timers as well so we lost that piece of mind.

He's already used the back…

He's already used the back surgery excuse once in his career.

You lost me at kids were at…

You lost me at kids were at an elevated risk.

I cut the cord after 20…

I cut the cord after 20 years with DirecTV and went to YouTubeTV.  Then they raised the price and cut the Fox Networks almost immediately.  It's still better and cheaper.  Things I want to stream (mostly Lions games) can be found on Bilasport.net

32 teams?  LOL.

32 teams?  LOL.

Best two players I ever saw…

Best two players I ever saw live were Chris Webber and Mark Macon.

I went to Chelsea game two…

I went to Chelsea game two years ago and went through a broker.  I wouldn't recommend that.  I wouldn't use StubHub either.  I assume ManU is the same they have an initial gate with "ticket stewards" that check the tickets.  Resales are illegal generally, and they police it vigilantly.  I saw a family of four who bought from a scalper get their tickets taken away.  Your best bet would be to check on suite packages or overnight stay/game packages that the clubs sell.

We criticize the recruiting…

We criticize the recruiting and talent levels, signing 3 stars too early, but then we're worried about how Harbaugh handled a situation of a recruit that signs with Kansas?  Can't have it both ways.  I could care less how they handled it.

I did subscribe; I have been…

I did subscribe; I have been a little disappointed so far.  Not enough daily coverage of the teams for my liking.  More feature type pieces.  I'll go through the year and see if it's worth renewing.

Mom might have everyone snowed.

Headed Friday

Staying in Indy for weekend, great downtown, very walkable. The drive to Bloomington as I remember it from before is very slow no matter what Google Maps says. Give yourself enough time. I also remember parking in general parking lot immediately next to the stadium for $10.

Park City

Sky and Main, Thu-Mon

I'm headed out.

Section N27. Anyone else there? Staying in Park City Thu-Mon. Should be a blast.

Undeniable

That these recruiting cycles have been disappointing.  There is no reason we shouldn't have capitalized on the recent success.  I think one thing to keep in mind is that given all the basketball shenanigans that happened over the past twenty years with the Fab Five, etc., that I would assume that during recruiting that if there's even a whiff of shadiness that UM just walks away from a prospect.

I agree on Beaver with Brian

I think he posts from his moms basement in CA. Can't even read his posts through his bizarre use of metaphors.

You're obviously

Sitting in your hotel room or going to all the wrong places.

When

We are losing recruits to Duke and Kentucky, I take that as a good sign.

He looks like

He needs to take a dump.

Or we will all of a sudden learn both of them are taking officials to Texas. It never ends. All this nonsense is the perfect reason we need an early signing period.

Look at USC

That's a top 10 job and the best they could do was Sarkisian who was 34-29 at UW in five seasons. That's scary to think about.

This game

Doesn't rank up there for me simply because it was a loss. I kept my emotions in check the whole game because I kept waiting for the shoe to drop the whole time. Then when to got to 35-21, I figured it was over. But after we tied it at 35 then it was game on. I completely supported going for two, just absolutely hated the playcall.

What's funny

Everyone knew it when they made the pick.

Firm handshakes

For Ash and Paskorz. Isn't Poole done? He shouldn't be on this list.

NW x 2, BC

I remember from Section 16, Row 81 in the BC game it was hard to see the field. Water was cascading down the steps like a waterfall.

NW 2006 was only game I ever left early for weather. I was completely unprepared. Watched second half of Scorekeepers.

NW 2008 earned me the Fandom Badge. Did stay until the end. Was able to stand in first few rows behind bench entire second half because everyone bailed.

Honorable mention goes to Wisconsin 97' at Camp Randall. Game time temp was 14?

Borges Boz Scaggs Fan?

Lido Shuffle reference. Sweet.

Bama QB's

Aren't asked to do too much. Hand off, occasionally pass, and don't turn the ball over. Bama's success lies much in its Defense. Plus they've had some dynamic runners lately. The only top end WR I can think of off the top of my head is Julio Jones.

Dickerson

I hadn't thought of Dan initially, but he was sideline reporter for a while. He would be great, very emotional with his calls. Maybe some conflicts early in season and possibly playoffs.

In an ideal world it would be Gus Johnson but doubt he could do it with his Fox contract.

Iowa on field

I actually had those seats the year we won 12-10 which I believe was in 98'. Brady was the QB. They were actually awesome when they were on our end. The safety happened right in front of us and we were in the pile with players celebrating. We were practically in warmups.

9 years

Living here and actually it's a great place to raise a family. Enjoy it quite a bit. I live in Dublin, so lots of transplants among the Buckeyes from everywhere. Great schools and diversity.

Only hockey player

That should ever be on a list would be Morrison and maybe Turco or JMFJ.

Here's a thought

Long run in the B10 Tourney to wear team out, or win a few, lose a close one and get some rest?

I should have said

His son played DB against him

Guy I work with

His played DB against him this year. Ball told him first play of game "I'm going to F you over all night long".

Yep

Want to take my kids to see new Crisler and Sunday Noon vs Penn State in Februrary seemed like a perfect game. No tickets available through MgoBlue (maybe single seats). Stubhub is available, but poor seats and overpriced at the moment. I will wait.

Instead

Next year it will be Justice Hayes.

We all know

Billy Price is a punk. I am sure Dawson was fired up. Wouldn't want to be Price and get ridden like a donkey for four years.

+1000

Enough already.

I can speak on this with a depth of knowledge

As a real estate owner with parking garages supporting office/retail. Don't do it. You'll never get away with it. There is a camera that catches every license plate and we will always know who did it. Not worth the hassle and cost.

Everyone is 50%!

Either they will commit or they won't.

Hope he's ok

But lots of options maybe some better.

It's also idiotic that

The NBA players association doesn't see how keeping kids in school helps them. If you keep guys out for 3 years, it gives the guys that are already in the league job security.

Bo's principles

Are very important, no doubt, but the world has evolved over the last 40+ years. It's just a fact.

I see both sides

Of course I am very disappointed if he leaves. Michigan had a chance at a special season. It also showcases what's wrong with college basketball and the NBA, and why both "jumped the shark" some time ago. This could be fixed but the powers that be don't seem inclined to fix it.

On the other hand Trey came to college with a dream of playing in the NBA and if he can fulfill that sooner by leaving more power to him. Even if he is assigned to the D League or has to go to Europe he will make more money right off the bat than four year grads.

Maybe being 40 yrs old gives me a different perspective.

Appy St or Michigan?

Ehhh, there aren't many options. Beggars can't be choosers I guess.

Dennis Norfleet

C'mon down.

Don't forget his sign off

#spartandawgs

Listened

On the radio as I was driving to Milwaukee for the Frozen Four. The Wings game was a classic, the Frozen Four not so much. But the brewery tour was good.

Don't forget

His twitter cougar flirtations with Angelique.
