Keeping up with the Joneses, literally. The design is still up in the air, but the stadium isn't, nor is public funding. Pushed through by the mayor despite some outcry. It's not like Atlanta has any other problems. |

I laughed at 'RIP Otto the Orange'. But then I remembered Syracuse isn't on gordie's list of approved schadenfreude sources. Is three hail mary's enough? Do I get absolution from God or do I have to go directly to gordie? |

The Varsity is great if you like lines and cold fried food. |

| 7 weeks 4 days ago | That's the most frustrating |
That's the most frustrating kind of fan in any sport. They care more about the fortunes of their rivals than their own team. Where's the fun in that? |

MICHIGAN, FERGODSAKES! |

The Wiziwig forum often has links to games. Sometimes, they even have VLC links, like today. The link is: http://bigtenmb247.cdnak.bigtenhd.neulion.com/mobile/data/btn2go/btnetwork/iphone_640.m3u8 Using VLC, 'open network' and paste that link in. High quality stream. |

I'm really happy the team won today. It helps me forget about all the single parents struggling through the financial crisis.

I complained. Kudos to Seth for having a thick skin and trying new things, that's not always or ever the easy first reaction to critical strangers online. The mouseovers are nice, but the real thing that makes me like this post is the ratio of content to jokes/references. No longer do the jokes feel like they're overwhelming and obscuring the content. I can breeze by them or maybe even laugh at them now. Yay! |
| 12 weeks 3 days ago | "sometimes too clever ain't clever at all" |
Absolutely agree. If you can cut out every joke and be left with a paragraph, maybe the post is overdone. I love the humor on this site, but some posts feel like they're hitting a meme checklist and it sucks the life out of things. They end up being tiresome and humorless despite the (or because of) the constant gags. I'll just say it, usually it's Seth. |

| 16 weeks 1 day ago | Funny but I don't really like |
Funny but I don't really like slamming our players like this. They might not all be on the floor for every game but they are in practice, film study, meetings, etc and we wouldn't be number 1 without our team. Our whole team. |
| 18 weeks 3 days ago | ITT: a fairweather fan |
ITT: a fairweather fan 'rediscovers' his alma mater's team and proves his loyalty by trashing their accomplishments. His experience with a superior basketball school has given him perspective beyond our ken. Why not stick to your new team's board? I'm sure they'll love your user name. |
| 39 weeks 18 hours ago | Perhaps 'the teams we most |
Perhaps 'the teams we most want to beat' are well represented because they are likely to be the teams we are most familiar with after Michigan. Every preseason not-a-watchlist should have at least one insane decision, just to highlight the frivolity of these things. Glad to see our emergency-duty WR take care of this important responsibilty by leaping to the first team. |

Cmon now. Hart is our all-time leading rusher. He was over 1300 yards every season but #2 (injuries). He only lost 3 fumbles.. that's less than one a year (!!). Novak, grit, etceteras. Mike Hart he ain't. |

But dead as far as directly scoring any more points for MBB. |

Football was often frustrating while I was in Ann Arbor (04-08). If not dong punches like the Alamo Bowl and the 2006 finale, it was 2007 and I THINK I WAS SOJOURNING IN TIBET AND MISSED THE START OF THE SEASON CAN'T REMEMBER I console myself with Braylon-fest and the knowledge that I got to watch Michigan's all-time leading rusher and passer for 4 years. Thanks, Mike.

| 1 year 6 weeks ago | I feel the same way."IS |
I feel the same way. "IS SOMEONE GETTING THE BEST? THE BEST? THE BEST? THE BEST? THE BEST? THE BEST? THE BEST? THE BEST? THE BEST? THE BEST OF YOU?" "I NEVER WANNA DIE! I NEVER WANNA DIE! I NEVER WANNA DIE! I NEVER.." Sure there's worse, but the accolades they receive just boggle the mind. Appreciation for all the foo they fight I guess. Someone has to do it. |
| 1 year 6 weeks ago | I'm getting vocational |
I'm getting vocational training. The program lasts 4 years. It doesn't conclude with any kind of certificate but at least it's free. It's a general studies program however, so I spend a lot of term learning stuff irrelevant to my future job. People keep telling me this makes me 'well-rounded'. Suddenly I'm told I'm likely to be hired by a company that is the best in my business. I'll get to continue my training on the job. I'll have extremely skilled co-workers to learn from. I'll get to completely focus on my tradecraft. I'll also make an extremely large amount of money. If you're one of the majority "who go pro in something other than sports", sure, finish college. If you're headed for the pro leagues, well... where is the value in turning down hundreds of thousands (even millions) to finish? With one year at the rookie minimum, he could easily afford to head back to michigan for his degree.. he could stay for a couple masters even. |

I'm in grad school at GT, so I'd love to see this =P I doubt GT would bring in the Atlanta market, which is full of UGA fans (double the number of undergrads). When I'm not on campus, I can count the amount of GT gear I've seen on one hand. |
