I agree the targetting was incorrectly called. However, it was called in the 2nd half, I think Zettel deserved to play all halves in his last game of the season.
Ohio State and Michigan State will again have better strength and conditioning than Michigan next year. I'm not optimistic when we get pushed around by Akron and a limited Penn State D.
I'd also like to see the head coaches start the example and change their diet and health.
I think they'll all get some much needed rest after the State game. As for GRIII, perhaps he could go on the Novak Djokovic gluten free diet in preparation for the tournaments.
This reminds me how annoying it is when people post to mgoblog while sitting on the john. Stop contaminating the smartphone you put up to your face, leave it out of the bathroom, and conduct your business properly. After you've thoroughly washed up you'll have time to use proper grammar instead of whining about the "grammar police" with your fudgy hands.
I agree with bronxblue that the Tressel reaction is the Best. Honoring his legacy symbolizes winning at all costs over ethics. This was OSU blowing a big raspberry in the NCAA's face saying "we'll continue to let the booster's run the show if it means getting the best players and winning NCs". bronxblue is spot on about our 90's MBB team. OSU is the Bizarro World version of Michigan, where our players carry Steve Fisher of the field and retire the Fab Five's numbers.
OSU's self-imposed penalties and the NCAA's penalties were reactionary to a systematic problem. Honoring the face of this problem demonstrates that OSU sees this as a non-event. I'm happy to know that the star OSU players will continue to recieve tattoos, loaner cars, and money for their "victories" from boosters and fans so willing and ready to dispense them.
I think "maximizing" the effectiveness of practices under NCAA time limits is nice to publicize but not necessarily the full story. Back in 2009, I recalll listening to Big Suke (former BYU OL) on 1080 the Fan Portland talking about RR practice time "issues". He says nearly all NCAA football coaches hand out a completed time cards for recording practice time which the players then sign. Suke's opinion was that RR was "too" honest.
The UM kid sprained his neck while killing a few hookers in his dorm room. Seriously, I hope he's okay. At least they could quickly get him to a top notch medical facility.
IDK. That's quite the speculation. A lot of people accused Gholston of being juiced last fall after trying to take out Denard. If he would have tested positive, we'd have known by now. This talk isn't mgoblog material.
Narduzzi has out coached Michigan's offensive coordinators the last several years and I do hope Borges can better prepare for their aggressiveness this fall. Narduzzi's name being thrown around for the Texam A&M DC job makes me think he'll be poached off as a head coach to a BCS school by the end of this season.
Class of 2013 has been full of drama. Following this class is like watching the Bachelorette with my wife. From Shane to LTT's letter burning to Bosch and now to the commit-leaks by the Bama coaches it's been very entertaining.

5-1 (with two games cancelled, sounds like Minny will have trouble fielding a team this Saturday).
Can we also add a fear-o-meter like the 11 Warriors scale?
1 = Not scared, poop cooler at 10% full
5 = Slightly scared, poop cooler at 50% full
10 = Totally don't want to open, poop cooler at 100% full
Thanks for sharing with us and all that you do at this site. Hang in there man.
This may put a Freeze on the rise of their football program.
Thanks Seth for speaking for all of us.
I'm sorry to hear that.

Argh, Palat with the whiff!
I take it there aren't many other Lightning fans here.
1997 was our year. Thanks for the ride M football, that's all we get.
Grievance: Jim Tressel. Both for being behind the Akron debacle and giving MSU a leg up on recruiting.
Are rumors off-topic? Rumor is Washingon is looking to hire Narduzzi as their head coach.

Heiko, don't give up. You're about to become an MD/PhD, trust me you're going to meet women.

I'm thankful for Brian, Ace, Heiko, and Seth's hard work in making me smile everyday.
Also, I'm thankful for the posbangs.
Heiko, this is epic and deserves the Thanksgiving Day Brady Hoke Epic Double Fist-Pump.

Hello Brobdingnagian!
Could one of the mods please send the RCMB website to Bolivia?
Mott's
I took me a while, but finally saw the MSU player laying in the weeds.

Wow, Spartiocrity is beginning much sooner than I anticipated.
I'd like to see Desmond hold up this sign:
For those who need to re-read NCB's wonderful post.
I had a Starter windbreaker as a kid as well that I got from Eastbay catalog. I wonder if they still make those things.
EDIT:
Found one on ebay. Classic.
Just a city boy, born and raised there.
I think you mean South Feet.
He took the midnight train.
Sparty also provides their best wishes at RCMB:

This is really lame to start bad rumors about a kid. Aren't there criminal defamation laws to prevent stuff like this from getting out of hand?
I know he lost some good WRs but I can see Logan Thomas added to that list.

You could say the same thing for RCMB posts as well.

BHGP hit the stereotype about handmedowns on the nose. Although, I think the only Michigan handmedown Sparty would gladly accept are SAT scores.
Grammar police should give mgoblog a pass on Saturday and Sunday mornings for this reason.
I thought we were going to stop calling them little brother until we beat them again.
I think actually "3rd Rival"
@MSUAD Should I take your advice or wait for the BigTen to have it's say? #GholstonPunch
