Put in a load of laundry. Prepped the BGE and started 3 racks of babybacks. About to start some buffalo chicken dip. Will set up the corn hole boards and the Michigan cooler. Call over some friends and enjoy the day!

My brother, friends, and I

Are participating in the Strides for Breast Cancer walk. Our mom, 1 year survivor, will be walking in it for the first time this year. We have awesome UM breast cancer fight shirts that the 3 of us will wear. So, the Walk, maybe a quick breakfast after, then meeting up with the local M club here. Going to be a great day! Go Blue!

As my name suggests

I'm in Pensacola as well. Have casually mentioned to others here in town to show up at random Washington games in M gear as a pleasant visual.

WD

Next time you're in the Pensacola area, let me know. There are usually a handful of Michigan fans at the games.

Happy Thanksgiving

to you dear sir as well as the rest of the MGoBlog community. Enjoy your time with friends and family. Beat OSU!! Go Blue!!!

Cooking

I will never fix steak soft tacos for game meal ever again.

Not at all

Commish sets a draft, you draft. He set up the worst draft we have ever seen. It was a no time limit email draft. Keeper league that has been going on for 8 years now.

I picked him up as well

due to the Benjamin injury. I also took Denard with a bench spot.

I am with you...

Last August both of my parents were diagnosed 2 weeks apart. My dad with Stage 4 Gallbladder cancer and my mom with Invasive Ductile Carcinoma -3. Mom has finished her chemo and is awaiting the start of radiation and the future is bright. Dad, however, has had no response to his chemo and has decided to not continue a 3rd round. His future is short, and the decline is quick. My thoughts and well wishes to you and your family. Your strength and support is needed. Stay strong and Go Blue!!

Founder's

Breakfast Stout.  World Market here has started stocking it.  First time I have had it in a bottle, always on draft. Also picked up a 6 of Breckenridge Vanilla Porter, haven't cracked one open yet though.

Thanks

Needed that. Yesterday miserable, and my fantasy teams are not looking much better today.

How can

anyone not mention "Johnny B. Good"? Former high school nerd become greatest high school player in the country. Anthony Michael Hall, young Uma Thurman, Ironman.

HAPPY COLLEGE FOOTBALL DAY to all!!!!!

Go to a game

Why not?  No one honestly thinks you're going to be obnoxious and creepy.  If it's going to be good football why not check it out?  Nothing wrong with checking out a game if it has a top rated player playing.  Not like you're stalking them.  I've had a great opportunity going back to my kid days to get to see some awesome players in my area.  You see them on the news, read about them, go see a game.  Give the school some of your money and have a few hours of entertainment. Catching games here in Pensacola i've had chances to see: Emmit Smith (when I was a kid), Alfred Morris (my h.s.) RB for Wsh RS, Derrick Brooks, and Trent Richardson.

Working tomorrow

But early breakfast with Pops on Sunday, then off to Joe Patti's Seafood for a little home cooked seafood.  Looking like blackened shrimp, fried fish (snapper hopefully), and oysters on the grill (slaw, baked beans, and hush puppies as well).  And how can I forget an ice chest of beer?

I'm adding a vote

Pensacola Bay Brewery. But I do live in Pensacola, so I am biased. Good beer though. I'll once again extend the offer to any MGoBloggers that visit the are, fist round is on me.

And Beer

When you are making a mixed pack, pick six is most certainly acceptable.

Press conference

Look at the amount of former players that were in attendance at Hoke's introduction press conference. I think that says a lot for his post coach/player relationships.

Opposite direction

I live in FL and enjoy going to AA for vacation when I can, unfortunately not nearly enough.

Our Group

Minus the sometimes petty bickering bouncing around on the board, this topic goes to show how awesome we are as an MGoCommunity. These are all heartfelt personal stories and experiences that are meaningful to each one of us,and to enjoy sharing them to total strangers goes to show how great the members of this board are. I don't post often, but this was a topic I really wanted to share.

To join forces with you

TexanGOBLUE, my son now lives in Houston with his mom. I was excited beyond belief when he sent me pics of his room all decked out in "Blue".

Has your Christmas bonus been

Has your Christmas bonus been delivered yet, Clark?  Have to pay for the pool.

No dust or allergies

My son has been a part of my life for 13 years. The difference being, he is not mine by blood. His mother became pregnant a few months after we had ended our relationship. She came to me after finding out obviously upset. We began spending time together as a friendly support on my side. We eventually picked our relationship back up and I went through the full term of pregnancy with her. I was the first to hold him after the C-section and he has my name as his middle.

Fast forward 6 years to Father's Day '06. I'm outside smoking ribs for my own dad and "B" comes outside. As he hands me a card he says "Poppy can I ask you a question?", now up to this point he had always called me that, which was special to us in it's own way, "Will you be my dad?" Needless to say the tears began to flow and I responded with very proud "YES".

He has been a great Wolverine. Singing "The Victors" at age 3, wearing M gear with pride, and eagerly showing off his Denard autographed jersey. He could not be more my son even with a bloodline. That Father's Day will remain my greatest. Happy Father's Day to all MGoDads.

I see what you did there.  As long as Joe Kane is drunk, Alvin Mack has a broken leg, and Steve Lattimer is having to work on his limp (her dad is a friend of the program), we shouldn't need Tim "He Could  Go All The" Wayman.

Molly's

in the French Market. Not sure about games, but says on the sign that it's a Blue bar. The "M" in Molly's is even a block M. As many times as I've been by there I never noticed it until the Sugar Bowl.
