3 years 18 weeks ago	umm.	was no one else looking forward to USC - Stanford next year. Harbaugh Carroll could have been fun. Its a game i would have gone out of my way to see.
3 years 19 weeks ago	eh.. still a disadvantage.	We are already splitting recruits (not evenly) between two schools in the state of michigan. Not a football talent hotbed. I dont think we can afford to just write off a school like the one in question.(I know little about the school but it sounds like a bunch of recruits have come from there dare i say its a pipeline?). Does this type of thing happen to any school in the state of Ohio or Texas? I dont think it should happen in michigan. I am not outraged but we do need to fight circumstances such as this one.

3 years 34 weeks ago	pressure	Also the problem from what ive seen (which is very little) is pressure from the d-line... Linebackers seem fine but their d-line has looked subpar without seymour. They look like they lose the LOS every play.

If they are funneling certain recruits through it... thats shady and it should be stopped or expanded to all student athletes. The article doesnt make it clear if all of the recruits needed to pass the committee.

3 years 41 weeks ago	Also	Its not that he isnt performing at USC its that he is more of a gunslinger QB that takes chance Pete Carroll wont allow. The other quarterbacks are playing more conservative and thus beating him out.
3 years 41 weeks ago	Another HC position	I dont remember which interview it was but it said that Greg called RR to discuss the DC position. That makes it seem like he wanted to get right back on the horse and could have other aspirations. But who would hire him as a head coach now? I think he is our DC for the foreseeable future unless he puts together some monster defenses, or fails miserably.

3 years 41 weeks ago	Schiano	Theres a reason Schiano wanted back in the Michigan head coaching search at the last minute. Its because Bradley pretty much runs the Penn State team now. Good luck wresting control from someone already entrenched. So I doubt he goes to Penn State, but does he think he made a mistake staying at Rutgers instead of coming to Michigan? If he does he might try to get in on a Notre Dame HC search or something along those lines...
3 years 42 weeks ago	jay mariotti	He reminds me more of Jay Mariotti than Albom. Reilly has no original ideas and tends to come off as a mouthpiece for MSM more than anything. At least the titles of his articles give away that he is going to discuss the same thing that has already been discussed on foxsports and cnbc sports so i manage to avoid 99% of his work.

3 years 42 weeks ago	Stopped reading Forde	I stopped reading Forde after Henne Hart and someone else i forget who sat out the Wisconsin game in anticipation of the OSU game the next week. Forde then wrote how terrible we are and how we dont deserve any of the hype. The hype which had died. Completely. One game into the season. And what little was left was constricted out two games in.

I know that is an outlier type example but I think we hear plenty of guys who have played previously with most not offering any material of interest. Or you know sentences. I think the world is starting to realize that putting smart people in important places is more important than someone with experience for experience's sake. Look at the rockets GM. He bases alot of his analysis on stats and he never played. The rockets got killed when they hired him because he wasnt a "basketball guy". Meanwhile Isiah Thomas was a great player but terrible front office guy.

There was a huge dead period where very little happened and I think some people just got anxious and posted anything just to post. Now we can talk about the 2010 opponent, B10 media days and other things seem to be cropping up daily now. Ill bet ten months from now we see a couple nonsense threads again. The point system should help prevent repeat offenders.

3 years 42 weeks ago	opponents	Anyone have their pulse on whats going on with these teams? I would like to play a relatively high profile matchup. Preferably against someone who finishes in the top 25 High profile in this day and age is a team with a stat stuffer kinda guy like Jahvid Best or Dez Bryant that ESPN can hype in comercials. Will those guys be on their respective teams in 2010? I doubt Bryant sticks around for his senior season given the hype he is getting. Best is kinda small so he might stick around for his senior year. But I really dont know. Mallett would definitely be at Arkansas Isnt virginia going to have one of their DBs playing QB? No thanks to Virginia. Pitts entire offense was mccoy and hes in the NFL now... Pitt would still be interesting though. The teams I want to play are (in order) 1) CAL with Best 2) Arkansas 3) Pitt
3 years 42 weeks ago	Drastic	This seems drastic if their intent was to clear emergency lanes for safety. It seems to me they could have threatened to write tickets if you block certain emergency routes and then have the sheriff come around give one warning and then write tickets... The current solution appears to appease the sheriff and make them some money in the process... Its a private company that is entitled to use the land as they see fit. Just like we will be entitled to go elsewhere. Forty dollars is not cheap. Implied in that price is some extra space to spread out and have fun. If they plan to set it up like a parking lot people will just park somewhere else. I know I wont park there until i hear they are allowing people to take up the space they want... within reason.
3 years 43 weeks ago	over 6	I was really starting to warm up to that line brian talked about in an UV of michigan over 6 wins -160. Think ill pass on the over 7 +105. Ill jump if i see an over 6 though.
4 years 22 weeks ago	because RR tried to bring	because RR tried to bring Casteel with him to run the 3-3-5. and then we switched to a 3-3-5 against Purdue and rumors were it wasnt shafers decision to do it. Thats why i think so anyways.
4 years 22 weeks ago	i hate this news.	RR needs time to get his offense in but shafer doesnt get time to get a poor linebacking and safety situation up and running? Even worse we might get stuck with the 3-3-5 which i dont think can work against good teams in the big ten. Hopefully Casteel stays at WVU.
