35 weeks 6 days ago	My first game at the Big House	That game was the first I saw at Michigan Stadium at the ripe old age of 5.  Sat in row 3 and high fived AC on his way out of the tunnel.  What is amazing is that Michigan was down 21-7 at the end of the 1st quarter and came back to perform a clubbing.

2 years 12 weeks ago	Fundamentals	Oh dear Lord please just give me a display of successful execution of the fundamentals of the game and all of this noise will go away.  Fundamentals.  Once we see again what proper execution looks like (and I am optimistically banking on that happening and will be crushed if it doesn't) we will remember what it is like to always be competitive in every game we play.  Fundamentals.  Catching the punted football.  Tackling the runner in the open field.  Filling the proper gap.  Protecting the thing called the football.  Fundamentals, oh how I miss thee.

2 years 17 weeks ago	damn weather.com	You have made me laugh.  My wife was on weather.com the morning my machine crashed just before I got on Mgoblog.  I am trying to convince her that she crashed the machine with weather.com.  No way it could be this blog!  You have neither helped nor hurt my case, but at least prolonged the debate!
2 years 17 weeks ago	Not when you are me	I looked into it a little bit from another machine, but couldn't even get past step 2 when I tried to start the process.  I have learned over time that trying to fix these problems on my own takes 3-6 months of the end of my life.  I will pay the pro and live on for one more season of Michigan football.
2 years 17 weeks ago	Crashed my home PC	I am lazy about anti-virus on my home PC.  Logged onto Mgoblog on Saturday AM and was the proud recipient of the "System Tool" virus that overtook my machine.  I guess 2 year old Anti-virus doesn't cut it.  Dropped it off at my computer guy's shop today and he just chuckled as he new easy money was coming his way.  Can't say it was Mgoblog for sure as no problems on work machine, but antivirus here is much better.
2 years 17 weeks ago	Talked to a coach friend of mine	He is at the clinic and is a Sparty through and through.  He said via text "Hoke was AWESOME."  He said coaches are liking what they hear from him and he is probably winning some coaches back that were lost by RR over the years.  He got to talk with Hoke for about five minutes and was "nothing but impressed." These were his comments not mine, so don't ding me for the RR losing coaches bit as I am just relaying the info presented by a current HS coach.

2 years 19 weeks ago	As wrong as can be	Name me more than five schools in the country that would be playing on January 1st with a record of 7-5, and a crappy 7-5 at that.  The reason we were there....because we are MICHIGAN.  We have a right to an elitist attitude.  We seemed to forget that when we went fad chasing a few years ago, but we ARE better than all but a handfull of programs out there.  We are a better institution, a better team and better men.  We have to return to that attitude or we can become just another program.  So some of our players think outside the box and take liberty with their introductions on football broadcasts.  That is nothing more than a representation of the independence and creativity that is nurtured in Ann Arbor. There is a reason football fields run North to South.  His name is Yost.  Accuse me as you will of being a blue hair (which I am not by age) and clinging to the past.  I will take that insult every day if I don't have to watch my program get embarrased in front of a national audience like we did on New Year's Day.  We are MICHIGAN.  We are elite.  We forgot that for a moment, but the right person can bring us back there and I hope Brandon finds that individual.  Take your shots at Hoke as Brian has instructed you to do, but he has not forgotten that we earned an elitist attitude through the work and dedication of some great men. That was a long reply to a short message and no one will read it, but I have been reading too many of these posts and finally had to hit reply.
