Idk if any of you are watching this but I really like the way Rich Rod is responding to this debate. Instead of focusing on the negatives, like how much money the players are missing out on, he says it's the responsiblity of the coaches to emphasize the educational opportunities they are getting. It sounds nice in a discussion, but I'm sure its really fucking hard to do in real life.
The Rays also finished in last place for about ten years, giving them high draft picks they parlayed into a couple good seasons. The Red Sox had several key injuries and they still won 85 games. Other than that, I agree with your statement.

Verlander put up career bests in ERA and WHIP last year. He starts slow, but he's an ace the rest of the way.

Edit: Ninja'd by a few seconds
Dirty Dawgs just tied it up, 28-28. The catches that set it up were ridiculous.
Nice marmot
Somewhere in San Francisco, Eddie Sutton is having a hearty chortle.

Yeah it's pretty much human trafficking (what his dad did). That is, if the allegations are true, and it's starting to look like they are.
Anthony Rendon is about to get paid.

I wonder how much BJ Daniels got.
The snake oil comment was actually from Joe Tiller.
Who let Buzz Killington in?
I don't understand what your trying to say
Really?
I get what you're trying to say, but you didn't articulate it very well.
I liked the stories about your personal life better.
edit: Beaten to it, but the point still stands...

What a shame, he was a beast for DCD and I was looking forward to see him tear up the Big East.
Mythical
Where's Jamiemac when you need him?
Yeah, you're better off posting rumors about Brian leaving MGoBlog.
Tim's website was way cooler than yours.
THE_KNOWLEDGE laughs at your misunderstood presumptions.

At this point, Locker's future lies in baseball.

Haha, that's a good one.

Yeah you know me! Thanks for posting this.
The Offense thanks you for you caution but assures you not to worry.
Isn't Pablo Sandoval the Kung Fu Panda?
Let's hope he doesn't run into Carson Butler anytime soon.
I'm so pumped for this game, I might jump half as high as Denard in that picture.
Denard's kneel after he scores is way more B.A. than any other celebration in college football.
