where isn't Harbaugh?
|1 week 12 hours ago||Dear coach:||
It is rumored that you applied for the UofM QB coach position under then coach Carr. i seriously doubt this! We all know that if you wanted that job you simply would have showed up on campus and assumed your rightful position....right???
|1 week 2 days ago||Deep down they fear Harbaugh||
I'm pretty sure about that. But for now let them mock us and have their fun. I wouldn't go to their message boards touted Harbaugh this and Harbaugh that. Many of us saw Hoke's recruiting an assumed a return to glory would follow. I know I made an ass out of myself proclaiming to my ND friends that 2013 would be the year UofM was competing for titles. Notice how current players aren't making bold proclamations? Pretty sure thats instilled by the coach. Let your actions on the field speak for you. We as fans should do the same. Go blue!

Jim is now officially the most interesting man in the world.

Best friend is an alum. He offers me discounted tickets to games he can't make. Saw MSU there two years ago and UoM last fall. A few years back got to see USC also. Love rooting aginst the Irish, although I keep it mostly internal except for the UofM game. It is a nice atmosphere on game day though.

When the games were still played on weekday afternoons. Doesn't even have to be the Tigers playing. A tight game, late innings, tension with every pitch, I love it. And this is coming from a guy who finds the regular season a complete bore, besides the Tigers of course.

the Michigan Panthers. But even then I thought the name was bush league.

Saban ordered this statement, thus taking the pressure off himself.

Austin get role playing minutes in the future, but glad that he is dealing positively with the reality of the situation. Good for you Austin, you're correct in that you are so much more than just a basketball player.
|4 weeks 5 days ago||The reason its not being shelved,||
is because Harbaugh truly believes it! He believes they are going to compete like warriors in each and every game and come out victorious. And when the players buy into this.....well, thats when we get to see a Stanford-like ground game control our opponents. I can't wait!

your birthday begets you get my firstborn.

While watching a game against a quality opponent, you experience at least 3 of the following emotions: despair, hope, sorrow, fist pumping joy, hair-pulling anger, blame-seeking, chest-thumping triumph.

Brian, Your basketball format is awesome! The NCAA tournament is great of course, but the regular season definitely needs a boost like this. The reguar season right now is basically seeding for the big dance....too many meaningless games! Of course, the bottom seven in your scenario play 3 weeks of REALLY meaningless games.
|4 weeks 6 days ago||Apples to oranges||
The NFL plays 16 games. How many times have we seen NFL teams rest regulars in meaningless late season games as they prepare for the playoffs. Exactly what you don't want in college football IMO.
|4 weeks 6 days ago||Legitimate||
is in the eyes of the beholder. A 2 loss SEC team that just lost the SEC championship game probably makes an 8 team playoff. WTF was the purpose of the SEC championship in this scenario? Seeding?
|5 weeks 8 hours ago||However....||
Eight would be okay if they eliminate the conference championship games. But we know thats not going to happen.
What I'd really like to see though......don't play the championship game on a freaking Monday night! Basketball does it out of necessity becasue the semifinals on Saturday just makes too much sense. So football follows suit becausue...why? The NCAA needs to work out a deal with the NFL to get a time slot on a Saturday for the championship game. If not, maybe Friday night works too.
|5 weeks 9 hours ago||Leave it at 4||
If you go to eight you'll have a bunch of conference championship game losers still in the mix. That shouldn't happen. I also agree that a bye is too big of a reward for the top 2 in a six team field.
|5 weeks 13 hours ago||Eight teams||
are too many. I don't want to see 2 loss teams playing. The college football regular season is unique to sports and I'd never want to see the last couple weeks turn into mainly playing for seedings.

Yeh I know its only fast food, but watching the empolyees behind the counter argue and insult each other was really awkward. Couple that with slow service and cold food and I haven't been back to a BK in over five years now.

The 76-77 season. The year Michigan football stold my heart. Also the first of three straight years of Rose Bowl losses. As soon as the game concluded my mom would yell, "Your Christmas vacation is over, school starts tomorrow so get to bed!" It seems it happened exactly this way each of those three years. Talk about a double dong punch to a 10 year old.

If the Dolphns "let" us have Harbaugh, I'll gladly give up Suh in return!

Watched the Massillon documentary on Netflix last night. It was about the 1999 team I believe. My jaw almost hit the floor when it was revealed that Massillon, across-the-board, "red-shirted" or held back the entire football team for a year after they would complete 8th grade. I'll just go out on a limb and assume that current day media scrutiny has ending that practice. Can anyone confirm this? Could not believe it! Your entire team is on average a year older than your competition, and you beat yor chest after victories and championships? Lame!
|2 years 9 weeks ago||Gotta disagree. I believe||
Gotta disagree. I believe traditional powers in particular benefit by playing in large away game markets. The local stud recruits get a easy trip to check out the program. Just because our recruiting is good now doesn't mean it can't get even better through more exposure.
|2 years 9 weeks ago||I'm just saying, if I'm a||
I'm just saying, if I'm a traditional power like Nebraska, I'd be a little upset that UofM and OSU get a whole bunch of extra exposure in large east coast markets due to Big Ten scheduling.
|2 years 9 weeks ago||Geez.....Just glad we're in||
Geez.....Just glad we're in the East. Teams in the West will only get regular exposure in Chicago, as far as dense recruiting hotbeds go. Seems like the alignment heavily favors East teams from a recruiting standpoint...which....Yea for us!!! Wonder if Nebraska is pissed?
