If you're someone who wants to continue to ski/ play cutting sports / etc , surgery is a excellent option. However, if you're ok with walking or jogging for exercise, you may be able to get away with going non surgical.
From the sounds of things, you're one of the people for whom a cadaver graft may be an option at least worth looking into
Kearney, while no sharpshooter, was a valuable defender and one of more reliable 3 pt shooters on a team already lacking in perimeter effectiveness. This means they will continue to rely on an inconsistent Byrd for outside shooting to take pressure off Harris and Appling.
The potentially concerning thing about this injury is that with it being a repeat occurrence the likelihood of him doing this again goes up.
He almost certainly has torn the Medial PatelloFemoral ligament, which is the primary restraint to the knee dislocating outward. If this problem persists a reconstruction may be neccesary which would be a very lengthly recovery(potentially longer than an ACL).
Let's hope Jon and the training staff continue to work hard and he's back on the court soon
the most recent literature has shown a high corelation of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) with the number of hits, not the severity. As such the highest proportion of football players with CTE are lineman, and receivers (despite their concussions seemingly the most puplicized) are actually last in proportion.
Traditional ankle sprains (inversion sprains) in which the bottom of the foot collapses inward and the ligaments on the outside of the foot are sprained are classified into 3 levels of severity. A grade III inversion sprain may require up to 8 weeks (and occasionally even more) to recover as the ligaments have been completely torn.
A high ankle sprain at a bare minimum takes 4 weeks to recover, and usually 6-8 as a reasonably quick time table with proper diagnosis and treatment with lingering symptoms lasting as long as 6 months. Furthermore, inversion (and eversion) sprains can occur at the same time as high ankle sprains, which could further complicate recovery.
Bucknell is always a strong mid-major team. An impressive win for them on the road, but I don't think the sky is falling in Lafeyette based on a loss like this
FCU would be huge too in the follow through of the throwing motion, and it's innervation would likely be affected.
In regards to what I posted, I was trying to not get into the nitty gritty details. All the hand muscles are essential to grip, but without the intrinsic hand muscles (dorsal and palmar interossei and lumbricals) your hand cannot have the base needed to grip
Thanks for some early input. I started this on a whim at lunch yesterday, so it should get more polished as I research some ways to incorporate your suggestions. I appreciate them, and welcome more comments/criticism regarding what I can do to improve my posts.
Also, in regard to Denard wearing a sleeve, my guess is he was symptom-free entering the Nebraska game, and he probably didn't like the way a sleeve constricted his ability to bend his elbow to end-range
I know you reference this years' recruiting class, but I think the larger topic you may be getting at in whether this Hoke-A-Mania is going too far. Personally, coming off the season's we are I think this class is very impressive, and as noted will likely only get better as the remainder of our targets will likely be 4/5 star types.
Furthermore, you have to think that this quick start should allow the staff to increasingly focus on the class of 2013, which we can all agree has a great start in Morris.
shaping up to be a great series. Vancouver with the great offensive players, and Boston with Chara and co. Very excited for this series, even if the Wings couldn't be here...
Good matchup between the size and defending of Man U vs. the skill of Barca. I'm a very biased Barca fan, and I think Messi and co. will take home the trophy after a hard-fought final today.
I'll say 2-1 with goals from Messi and Iniesta, as well as Hernandez for United
To me I would devote 90% of my time to the verbal section. Granted I took the test in '08, and maybe the test has changed, but I received a 780 on Math and a 580 on verbal. This was with a heavy majority of my time on the verbal section. Get a vocabulary book off Amazon (Kaplan was what I used), and grab a Kaplan study guide. I also used the powerprep software, and I feel it at least gave you a chance to take more practice tests, which helped a ton.
Also, I would hesitate to spend as much time as they suggest. I read a lot of things that said to spend 2 hours a day for 4-6 weeks. I was a slightly above average college student, and I would say that about 10-14 hours total is sufficient if done properly.

pretty much everything by Big Sky is delicious
homebrewed IPA highlighted by a Centennial Dry Hop. Beat Indiana.
What would you say to Under Armour?
A buddy of mine works for them and says they'll be making a big-time push for the next contract
small sample size applies (both to this yr and last yr) but he was a 39% from three last year...

Likely a tri-malleolar fracture. Been a rough year for Fitz. Here's to a quick recovery
thanks and Viva Barca

Finally. LETS GOOOO
Salai has been a nice surprise. Very effective all playoffs and few mistakes. Now let's get another goal boys!
First good chances of the 2nd. Lets go Boys!
So far our 5-5 play is much better than game 1
great pass to set up that chance. good sign for Hudler
and let's hope the refs don't take over this game
Sharks forwards are so tough, but I trust Lidstrom and the boys! Hopefully they can neutralize the Sharks speed and get more pucks in deep and cycle
I'd be OK if I never saw Joe Pavelski again.
Great news on a beautiful day!
They scare the hell out of me. And I don't mean the animals.
and now everyone in chicago can go back to not caring about hockey

As a West Michigan native, I welcome Ben to the Wolverines! Let's hope he can have a productive career as fellow Rams Joe Staley and Bryan Anderson
