| 3 weeks 1 day ago | This problem is not just student driven. |
I have been a season ticket holder for well into double digit years. I live in southeastern MI and have two friends who live out of state with tickets right by mine. All toghether we have six seats. We are all young professionals and have the money for the tickets, but we are starting to ask ourselves why we keep paying for season tickets each year. With home game schedules that are very lackluster and family activities, why the hell am I dishing out a couple grand each year to attend two or three games? I love the University, but at what point do I say what the hell am I getting in return for my PSLs and ticket prices? I spent thousands of dollars in tuition for a nice piece of paper. Don't get me wrong, it has opened up some doors that other pieces of paper wouldn't have. But, its getting to the point where I can have a few friends and family over, not worry about having a few beverages, and watch the game on really nice TV. I am happy with this. My buddies come into town once or twice a year to go to games and we have a great time together, but they are starting to feel like I do. Stubhub is becoming a more and more attractive option. Please don't get mad at me for this post, because it is reality. |
| 8 weeks 1 day ago | I thought all |
of my experience at Michigan was more about drinking than anything. |
| 8 weeks 1 day ago | The only way to fix it |
is to make the student section smaller. As a sixteen year season ticket holder, this will end up creating chaos at other gates besides the student section. |

Bill and Ted's Soooo-crates, or someone different? |

a shotgun was a nice choice but something larger would have been nice. |

It thought he was in EL today. |
| 1 year 16 weeks ago | If Krugler gets an |
offer, he will commit on the spot. He is going to have to bulk up for center at 6'2" 195. |
| 1 year 16 weeks ago | Make sure |
he brings you a nice bottle of a 2001 Barolo. |
| 1 year 16 weeks ago | Patrick Krugler does exist |
and he was in Ann Arbor yesterday. He is in LS and A with a concentration in Econ finishing his 7th semester. He works at Palio's on the weekends. But I agree, he didn't get an offer. |
| 1 year 16 weeks ago | The genesis of Pancheros in Ann Arbor... |
Pancheros has been around the longest in A2 by far. In the 90's, Pancheros made the burritos with meat, refried beans and the rest of the veggies(lettuce, tomato, and what not but no rice). The El Gordo, a 2lb burrito but bigger at 2am, was a mainstay of the late night drunk crowd. The Pancheros in East Lansing also produced the same food. In the early 2000's, the Pancheros were bought out by a large holding company and turned into a chain. Basically all of the Qboda, Chipotle, and what not are the same except for some spins on ingredients. They are chain restaurants that you will find some are better than others. The El Gordo is a legendary burrito that the Fab Five, Charles Woodson, and other Michigan legends have been witnessed eating in the 90's. |

| 1 year 28 weeks ago | Coaching Staff |
I don't think this coaching staff works that way. All they want is a quality recruit and they like everyone of the OL they offered. Like stated in posts before, it is a first come, first serve basis. They are keeping their options open because recruiting can shake out weird on the last few days. |

| 1 year 28 weeks ago | A lot of this speculation |
assumes a Sugar Bowl bid if we play in the BCS. There is still a possibility of a Fiesta Bowl bid if we qualify for a BCS bowl. It all is going to depend on how the rankings shake out and which match ups will be the most attrractive for at large BCS bids. The Fiesta bowl people were at the Nebraska game and the Sugar bowl people never made it to a game. I don't know if that means anything. |
| 1 year 30 weeks ago | How I am going to guzzle |
all the Busch Light I can without the extra 15 minutes? It is stupendously ridiculous to make me shotgun that much more Busch Light faster. |
| 1 year 30 weeks ago | Irresponsible OP |
I was there. I worked for Merck when Vioxx was launched. Vioxx was not a perfect medication but it did help some people. Physicians are not infallible in the Vioxx case because they were presrcibing the medication to high risk individuals. People that were not studied. Frazier was not even around when the drug was being studiedand launched to the public. I no longer work in that industry, but know a few things about the industry and I know that other similar dugs were yanked at the same for the same reasons. The OP is ignorant in this case. For the OP to relate to link the drug company circumstances and the CEO to the current situation at Penn State is absolutely ludicrous.
I know everything I read on the interweb is TRUE!!! |

YOUR MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
| 2 years 3 weeks ago | AWESOME... |
Our defense can all drive 300's and our offense can drive Chargers while the coaches are giving recruits tattoos. |
| 2 years 3 weeks ago | He had to use Denard as an example for |
all the reasons some on this board are upset. Denard is a great role model at this point in his life, therefore if he used a Cam Newton, his point would have been muddled because Newton already has a terrible connotation associated with his name. By using Denard, he gives an example of a fine upstanding man and football player and how fans and media go bonkers over a young man making a decision that could affect his entire life and creating a situation empowering an individual to affext something bigger than himself. It is much more meaningful than talking about someone who has already been dogged to death by fans and media. |

I think the more appropriate acronym is "that Shit in Ohio" |
| 2 years 4 weeks ago | This thread along with yesterday's Carr |
thread are highly entertaining. I think a group of 5 year olds could discuss the RR subject with more maturity. |
| 2 years 4 weeks ago | I love this site!! |
I get negged for being normal. I am a season ticket holder and alumnus. Because I post a realistic viewpoint, doesn't mean I am trolling. |
| 2 years 4 weeks ago | While the excitement over the class of 2012 |
is nice. There is still a whole high school season yet to be played and a lot can happen in 9 months. We can laud Hoke for his recruiting efforts to date, but things can change quickly. |
| 2 years 6 weeks ago | But the article says nothing about |
assigning stars like kobe and lebron to the DL. The DL will become a sham after the owners lockout the NBA players. If you do not think this you are crazy because the NBA is not in a positive cash flow situation like the NFL. So Darius is going to get drafted in round 2 and sit there doing nothing. What a waste of talent!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
| 2 years 6 weeks ago | Does anyone know |
when the cba expires for the NBA? Also, if the players are locked-out, how will assignment rights to the DL work? I do not think people in his ear are educated on the disaster the NBA is going to be. NFL x 100000000000!!!!!! |
| 2 years 9 weeks ago | NHL and the Wings |
Even though the Wings ARE the biggest draw for the NHL in terms of TV viewership and attendance, the NHL abuses them. That is why Pavel is the most under appreciated guy in the NHL. Also, if he was on any other team, he would get an average of 2 minutes more ice time per game. His stats would go up. |
