I believe you can locate that vendor in Australia.

Situational QBs?

Well, I guess situational QBs might work for one game. But, wouldn't it be pretty easy for ND to figure out each QBs "situation" and then defense each QB accordingly?

In or Out?

Actually, they are making the seats wider. So, it is probably doubtful they would shrink in the future.

No Van

Brian doesn't own a van. Perhaps the back seat of that fine car of his (a Buick?).

Let Them Play

At least the "criminals" have paid for their mistakes (unlike players that use PEDs and remain on the field).

Vick is in bankruptcy court as we type and everyone there wants him in the NFL. About 70-80 percent of his salary for the next 6 years will got to taxes and creditors.

You Betcha

It shows up just fine on my screen and is only about 2 inches wide. It would be about 3-4 times larger on the T.

I would make the lettering larger and put it on two lines.

Great, great shirt.

Yes

Plus, the added height of these seats above the stadium floor makes it even less of an experience. I've been in several stadiums for away games and usually get stuck up in the rafters of the upper deck.

Our seats at the Big House are simply orgasmic in comparison.

Correct!

Best Case: "being the best result that could be expected UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES" (emphasis added).

Otherwise best case for every team would be undefeated and worst case would be winless. Rendering any analysis useless.

Copyright?

Great T-shirt!!

Might be a problem with the Block M. I did a sign and had to slightly change the block M before the printer would do it. (I put a slight downturn on the bottom of each leg.)

NY Scouts Disagreed

Obviously, the NFL scouts (at least in NY) saw something PC did not see. NFL teams are not in the habit of using a first round (#5 pick overall) to select players that are not ready to play in the NFL.

Ready Versus Successful

Actually, I did not state that, since Sanchez was named the starter, he would be a successful NFL QB. That would be a completely ridiculous statement!

I stated that this was a clear indication (proof?) that he is "ready to play" in the NFL.

Other points indicating he was ready to leave USC:
1) Obviously the NFL scouts (at least in NY) thought he was ready because he was drafted higher than most expected (PC said Sanchez would go in the 2nd round).
2) NY knew that with this high a draft, Sanchez would get a mega contract (PC said leaving early would cost Sanchez 10-20 million).

Obviously, only time will tell if he is successful.

You Sir Are A True Michigan Man!

Thanks, my post ("WRONG") was merely trying to dispel the idea that this was NOT censorship. By every definition I can find, it is.

I made no value judgment about whether the censorship was good or bad.

Huh?

OK, you certainly can criticize me for using wiki. But, you or anyone else did not provide another definition.

What is your source?

OK, You Sucked Me In

I did not boo. But, no one was booing Sheridan as a "bad person".

I suppose anyone who boos should say, "You are a fine upstanding person but your performance on that last play was: "BOO"

WRONG

From wiki: "Censorship is the suppression of speech or deletion of communicative material which may be considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, or inconvenient to the government or media organizations as determined by a censor."

Not True

We all know that the hat we wear, or what we eat at the tailgate, or what our facial hair looks like, or what we post on this blog is the ONLY thing that has to do if we win or lose.

Have to admit

I'm intrigued also. Haven't been to any of the practices.

Is Robinson constantly pulling on the shoelaces to tighten them?
Are his shoes a size smaller than perhaps they would normally be?
Does he use velcro?
Has he ever "thrown" a shoe while running?

Somebody has to lose!

Whoa, folks, for M to crack the top 25, a lot of teams already there have to lose. The non-conference schedules for most teams (I haven't checked them all) are so weak that it is quite likely that few of the top 25 will actually lose in the first 3 or 4 weeks.

Obviously when we crush ND, that is one team out of the top 25.

But, that coupled with even two other lopsided wins over WMU and EMU just won't do it.

Weak Schedule

It's a pretty weak schedule. I'd say perhaps at 4-0. Definitely when we go 5-0 after a big win at MSU, we'll be in the top 25.

Twelve

..

Hopefully the Full Monte

A bakers dozen. Uh, yeah, that would be 13. We will be in a bowl game this year.

Not you in the pic?

So, that is not you in the avatar?

Moustache ONLY?

Those look like full on beards in some photos or goatee in other photos. Any photos of Brian with the stache only??

No correlation

There is no direct correlation between O and D in college football.

Using Scoring: Tennessee O = # 115, D = #10

USC O = #22, D = #1
OU O = #1, D = #58

Chicken or the Egg?

This certainly falls into the chicken or egg controversy.

But, statistically U/M D had one of its worst years ever.

Laying that all on the O is silly.

And, we know which coach got fired.

Well,

Statistics do not agree.

OSU Game: TOP 1st half U/M 14 minutes (so, osu would be 16 minutes). Hardly an indication the defense is exhausted. But the D fell apart in the 2nd half before the O could blink and it was over.

PSU Game: TOP 1st half U/M 17 minutes (so PS would be 13 minutes). If anything PS D should have been exhausted.

12 Game totals: M = 20 PPG (not horrible) Opponents = 29 PPG (crap!!)

2007: M = 27 PPG, Opponents = 21 PPG
2006: M = 29 PPG, Opponents = 16 PPG

A Perfect 10

Best one yet. I always prefer the positive slant (Zoltan, etc.).

Anyone who doesn't get it should get 5,000 points deducted.

Gawd, sure hope the Defense is improved.

IMO, the defense was at least 75% of the problem last year. Sure hope this is a sign of Offense == good and not Defense == bad.

Molk Tip-off?
In the early

Molk Tip-off?

In the early games, I also thought I noticed Molk was tipping off the snap by raising his head right before he snapped the ball. He (Molk) seemed to do this less and less as the year went by.

I actually watched some YouTube of Florida and their center never raised his head before the snap.

Hopefully this is resolved.

New Criteria

So, is this NEW criteria?

"it should transition into a resume ranking of which teams you've beaten, and how convincingly"

I sure hope so. In the past, it has usually been "how you think the teams will end up after 12 games".

Which, of course, has resulted in some pretty ridiculous rankings.

Memory Loss?

I guess I'm confused (CRS?). We had a discussion a few months back and I recall virtually everyone agreeing that steroids are commonly used in football at all colleges.

It was agreed they are currently being used at U/M.

Nooooooooo!!!!!!!

Do not tempt the football gods/goddesses!!

Hats!

Hey, what about hats?

You always need a hat in the sunshine of M stadium!

Cool

Cool

Heh, Heh

Oh, you must mean the fact that I used an "Argument fallacy ad hominem" to respond to an "Argument fallacy ad hominem".

Yeah, that was just a coincidence.

Well

A) I did not chastise anyone. I said that Shit Storms are what MGoBloggers do (myself included) and that the OP should get used to it.

B) As the folks at the LAW always proclaim, "opinions should have some basis in fact".

C) Just making the NCAA tourney is a great achievement for this M Bball team, but the OP said "Proudest I have ever been...". That is simply hyperbole (IMO).

D) Or perhaps the OP has a different definition of proud than what I do.

Missed The Point

Musket Rebellion: I think you missed the sarcasm in UMxWolverines "NEVER go to any Michigan ...."

Hyperbole

I sure this is hyperbole. Better than the 1997 Football National Championship? The 1989 Basketball NCAA Championship?

Really?

Poor Dex

I looked up "dead nuts wrong" and there was your picture!!

NO.

What part of curse don't you understand?

Hmmmm,

Would an air war or sea war be better?

Newbie

UMxWolverines: This is what MGoBloggers do. Sorry, you are not unique in any way. Whenever an alternative opinion surfaces, let the shit storms begin.

Get used to it (it actually makes it fun to get the masses a tad upset).

(See signature below for more clarification.)

No Way!!

Dude, we would have lost with a live blog.

No Way, No How, No Live Blog!!

caps

caps, what caps, we don't need no stikin caps!!

Civil Suit?

So, would it be possible for an individual to bring a civil suit against usc or osu?

That would generate subpoena power and statements under oath in court!

No, Start NOW!

Actually I don't believe Brian does live-blog the Dow and that is obviously the problem.

He must start live-blogging the Dow immediately!!

MGoBlog Live-Blogs of M games = BAD

MGoBlog Live-Blog of Dow = Good

Whooo Hoooo

Well I'll be damned!!

Ahhhhhh

Apparently you were not one of us (the 69% who, of course, are right).

Why not try actually watching the game instead of typing on the keyboard thingy and staring at the little screen thingy.

Huh?

So I guess the fact that 69% of over 2,800 votes cast say NO to a live blog is not enough?

You want a petition?

So, like almost 2,000 people can duplicate their vote by signing the petition?

Are petitions better than voting??

I'm corn-fused!!

Which God is Brian?

Would Brian be Aztec, Greek, Norse, or Roman?:

Ixtlilton -- Aztec -- Games
Nike -- Greek -- Victory
Tyr -- Norse -- Sports
Victoria --Roman -- Victory
