And I found a pretty good version of the fight song. Performed by somebody called the Tartar Band of Compton. Which reminds me, maybe we should add some Dr. Dre/Snoop. |

I hadn't updated my wallpaper since the Indiana game. I'm pretty sure that's why we haven't won since. Problem fixed. 10-2, here we come! Kidding aside, you are very skilled. Has there been an mgoprofile on monuMental yet? |

I would ban anyone who started a thread with a title in the vein of "My thoughts on the ______ game." As if anyone cares. I get so tired of seeing a dozen of those after every win and thirty of them after every loss. Let's make a deal, delusional postgame thoughts-offerers. You start blogging your postgame thoughts elsewhere, and I will visit every Saturday and even make a comment. I am willing to take this one for the sake of the MGoBoards. |

I agree with the thing about their D-line being better than our O-line. He must not have seen the donkeying that is taking place this year. |

Here's a little something I put together as motivation for this week's game. It's inspired by Mark Dantonio's perpetual scowl. I call it Dantonio the Carpathian:

He showed up in the front row after Stonum's return TD against Notre Dame in 2009. What I'd like to know is how did he get front row seats two years in a row? |

What kind of recourse does a guy like Dorsey have if he's not current enrolled in college anywhere? Can he improve his high school grades at all and retake the ACT/SAT, or does he have to earn some college credit and hope for admission somewhere as a transfer student if he wants to play football? |

Oh, awesome. I was eyeballing that shirt for a while. Then, like a month ago I was like "I should get one of those in case they stop printing them soon," and then the Cease and Desist came down. |

| 2 years 34 weeks ago | Their stunning victories over |
Their stunning victories over Towson (I'm sure they're an FCS powerhouse) and W. Kentucky (last win was during the Bush administration...but hey, at least it's the younger Bush administration), as well as today's likely victory against Akron (uh...MAC...that is all) don't really provide much in the way of useful information. Chappell's passing numbers look strong, and Darius Willis has rushed for about 5 YPC so far. Given the competition, who knows what will happen? |

| 2 years 34 weeks ago | Interesting. Does anyone else |
Interesting. Does anyone else feel that TV sports personalities would be a million times better if they regularly displayed this kind of candor? It seems like every time we get an "opinion" from some sports analyst on TV, it's watered down, politically correct, yet still SHOUTED VERY LOUDLY. Rarely does anyone break from the conventional wisdom. |

| 2 years 34 weeks ago | I think Navarre's senior year |
I think Navarre's senior year was very successful. It was his preceding difficult years that sort of led us to expect another frustrating season in 2003, but he consistently defied those expectations. Perhaps the biggest improvement he made that year was in gaining the composure to take a step up in the pocket to avoid a sack and then fire accurately downfield. That seemed to be a common recurring event in the 03 season. "Oh shi- that defensive end is bearing down HARD. Navarre is way too slow to avoid this inevitable sack." [Navarre steps up, just out of reach and fires to Avant. First Down!] My face:

At some point I'm expecting that edge pitch that we saw late in the year last year. The way our receivers are blocking this season, that could be a very successful play. |
