In that case mea culpa; I…

In that case mea culpa; I suppose I thought it touched him on the way down and therefore it became a live ball. Either way, I am very glad it did not matter!

My $0.02, having been to all…

My $0.02, having been to all three of Hamburg, Berlin, and Lübeck:

  • It sounds like you'll be somewhere around the Kiel area? My recommendation would be to do Hamburg and Lübeck, then, as I think the train ride/drive to and from Berlin would eat up a lot of your time. Berlin is absolutely a cool city with a ton of history, but doing it as a day trip might feel a bit underwhelming.
  • Lübeck is a very, very cool Hanseatic city on the coast. You can see what parts of it were destroyed in the war, as some blocks are half very old buildings and switch to being very new ones. I was lucky enough to be invited into a friend of a friend's house there for coffee, and he had the coolest 16th century frescos on the walls in his basement! I would also recommend the Niederegger marzipan shop in Lübeck - very tasty chocolates and it's been around for over 200 years.
  • Hamburg is also a very cool city with a ton of history, but also a very modern vibe as the vast majority of it had to be rebuilt post-war. The remnants of the Nikolaikirche might be interesting to see, and I also recommend seeing the Elbphilharmonie. Others have mentioned doing a harbor tour, and while I have not experienced that myself I have to imagine it would be a good time.
  • Someone earlier recommended the Miniatur Wunderland, and I really have to second that opinion. It might not sound like the most interesting thing to do, but the scale and level of detail they are able to build their dioramas with is immensely impressive. They even have a working miniature airport!
  • Lastly, definitely make sure to get plenty of döner and currywurst from a local Imbiss, wherever you go!
It appears that the picture…

It appears that the picture in the info block is of the kicker before him at Louisville, Creque, who is both left-footed and previously wore #32.

I had wondered the same…

I had wondered the same thing as the OP (give or take some snarky tone), so genuinely thanks for clarifying.

This writeup should honestly be the first thing on the (your?) company's website; I spent 20 minutes scrolling through the site and accompanying social media pages and still was unsure what exactly the space was for (is it an all-inclusive workspace? Are restaurants available to the public or just for guests? etc.)

It's a snazzy site full of a lot of buzzwords, in desperate need of an "about" page with a concise breakdown like you've provided.

Rotel, Velveeta: it truly is…

Rotel, Velveeta: it truly is Big Ten football season.

34-7

34-7 Michigan victory

Thanks

That was one of mine. Glad people liked it

Nope

I went to Ann Arbor Huron from '09 to '13, so no, we were terribad. I think we might have won one game in like my last three years. Jeremy Jackson was a senior my freshman year and we were decent then, I think we beat Pioneer for the first time in forever. Then the highlight of the next three years was the big brawl we got into against PiHi.

Stream

For anyone this may apply to, here is a stream where you don't have to have a cable provider

God damn

Larkin has such great vision

Larkin having another great

Larkin having another great game

Wow

That was purty

WE WANT MOOOOOOORRRRRRE GOALS

And also a stream... Does anybody have an FSD stream?

He's Injured

I saw him at South Quad the Thursday before the game, and he was on crutches not moving around very well.

I'm no doctor or physical trainer by any means, but it looked like more than just a dinged-up boo boo kind of thing.

To express how I feel

I would simply post nothing.

That was really fun

I was one of the students on the sideline for the game, and we had a ton of fun. I managed to get high-fives and talk with Hoke, Nuss (I even touched his playsheet!), Devin, Jabrill, Clark, JMFR, Green, Smith, and more. I should preface my observations by saying that I did sort of tune the practice out after about halfway through.

The first team o-line, from memory, was Cole-Magnusson-Miller-Glasgow-Braden. They didn't look great, but they didn't look awful either. They were pretty unnoticeable.

Mo Ways has some great hands; I wouldn't be surprised to see him get some PT later in the year.

Jabrill Peppers is a man-child.

Not to be a Debbie Downer

but didn't we lose to them this year? 3-0 at Comerica...

Thank you based Glenn!

Pepper needs new shorts!

Seriously?

Do we have walkons that we can play tomorrow?

It's one of the many reasons

It's one of the many reasons I love Ken and Mickey calling Wings games. Yeah, they're definitely pro-Wings, but they put just as much effort into the time when the other team has the puck as when the Wings do.

Good Lord these Minnesota announcers are terrible

When the Gophers have the puck it's like every pass is the greatest pass ever made. When we've got the puck, it's like they're about to fall asleep up in the booth. I'm fine with being a little partial, but show a little excitement the other way every now and then...

Oof

That was some bullshit, but I'll take it since the Wings NEED points right now.

I wish

It's sold out though, and the few tickets I can find are waaaay too expensive. If they come by next year there's no way I'm missing this!

Michigan

Ah yes

The First Congregational Church of the Leather Ovoid

WOOOOOOOOO

Our fathers, who art on the gridiron

Hallowed be thy game

Thy kickoff come, thy will be done

In the game as it is in practice

Give us this play our desired yardage

And forgive us our neutral zone infractions, as we forgive those who commit penalties against us

And lead us not into a trap game, but deliver us from the pain of defeat at the hands of our rival

For thine is the zone, the power-I, and the counter forever

Amen

Football's back y'all!

Yeah!

Think they'll win any games this year?

It's just a video

of Coach manning saying how he got mistaken for Devin Gardner. You weren't really missing anything groundbreaking...

Nope

They just bunched everyone up closer to the doors.

The line

is manageable. I'd estimate it to be around 75 to 100 people. It goes from the doors of the track and field building around the corner and up the parking lot. As of right now it ends at the bleachers for the baseball complex.

EDIT: Huh, so this is what it looks like to be able to moderate posts. Interesting.

Sounds like fun

Where are you guys planning on hanging out? If you could actually get people on the field that would be awesome, but probably not realistic...

HAIL

Woohoo I just got accepted to Michigan! I can finally speak from experience when I say "It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine!" Hopefully I can make it over to the game tomorrow to celebrate. LSA '17!

Here's to a great season

and a 1-0 start!

I'm sorry to threadjack

but can we take a moment of silence for the Golden State players who have to wear THAT? This better not be the future of basketball...

Well, it's looking like I'm

Well, it's looking like I'm not going to know what I'll do

If we find a way to lose this

I ... I don't know what I'll do

I want it to stop as well,

but from a purely x's and o's standpoint, do you really see them winning?

FSU

Does anybody actually have NIU?

Hope to be joining them soon

but I got deferred.

From what I've seen

of Michigan State, and from what I've seen of TCU, I would fully expect TCU to beat Staee by at least 10 points...

Watched it

Eyes were sweating the whole time. All of the feels, man.

I'm fine

No thank you

Seriously

Fuck 'em

The stealth bombers are always pretty cool,

but my favorite flyover was for the UConn game in 2010. I just love those old bombers, and I swear the pilot dipped down into the stadium then pulled back up again to miss the scoreboard. That was pretty sweet.

Am I a horrible person for

Am I a horrible person for kind of liking how those shoulder stripes look?

EDIT: Apparently I am...

Ice water.

Because of, you know, laws and stuff.

My God...

those shorts... they're so... ugly!
