Would tune in out of curiosity to see Denard, but other than when the Bradypats are in the playoffs I have no interest in professional football or--really--pro sports, period. Had a period where I really admired the San Antonio Spurs, but that's long past. Now, if the Tigers or Pistons ever mounted a real threat, I might tune in.

Almost forgot, I watch Orlando Pride NWSL games with my daughter because it's a nice way to be together. Great family atmosphere at their games.

Love Denard, always thought he should have been a slot receiver. One of the best pure Runners I've ever seen and could read tne D when running not so much when passing though. Still another great Michigan Man,  unfortunately stuck in a dark era of Michigan football he was a glimmering light

I’d love to see this league take players right out of high school.  Keep college “amateur” and give the players the option of getting paid. I suspect most elite high school players would still find more value in the college route.

Is there any TV coverage for these games? I looked on their website and couldn’t find any mention of it.

I’d love to see Denard play again!

I’m surprised he isn’t in the NFL still he was pretty productive as a backup charge of pace type but was injured.  I guess whatever lead to him rolling his car into the pond while asleep at the wheel scared teams off.  Hope he can get back he was one of the best pure runners I’ve ever seen.

I don't know much about this league.  Why do we need it?

What is its distinction that is supposed to make us watch it?

What about it is going to succeed where countless other leagues before it have failed?

If this league lasts it'd be cool to have an expansion franchise in Ann Arbor. Spring and summer football in the big house would be fun. Also the Lions fanbase is ripe for the picking to steal fans from. If Denard  and Gallon came to that team they could sell a respectable amount of tickets. Add some other recent graduates who had short careers in the NFL. Wouldn't hurt with recruiting either.

Bronson Hill went to Grand Rapids Catholic Central and Eastern Michigan.  I think he held the NCAA record for yards in a game for a week.

I see so many people not even willing to give it a watch. Just because of past failures doesnt mean this wont be worth watching . The USFL was fun to watch for quite awhile . I remember seeing Bobby Hebert and the Michigan Panthers live once .

De'Veon Smith is on the Orlando Apollos. They play the Atlanta Legends the first game of the season. If that game is televised, maybe a worthwhile watch from a Michigan perspective.

Although, bonus points to Atlanta for having a kicker named Younghoe.
