Win or lose last Saturday vs. MSU, weren't a lot of Buckeyes leaving for NFL anyway?

Following last second loss to MSU on Saturday, the mass media sure is playing up the future Buckeye departures to the NFL, questions about Meyer's leadership, loose lips sinking ships, and questions about team cohesion after the loss:

I did not expect this for an 10-1 team heading into big rivalry game, but there  you have it.

I'm sure Ohio State will bring their best and try to end their season on a spectacular note in Ann Arbor.

I'm just surprised that Urban Meyer wouldn't re-assert control and put the kabosh on all the prima donnas players and their divisive comments.

As for future NFL depatures, I don't know that these talented players would have stayed anyway had they beaten MSU on Saturday.  I think most were preparing to go anyway, because they can.

Should be a great game on Saturday for the seniors on both teams regardless.

Lets hope Harbaugh and co. beat the living fuck out of them so they all leave.

64-0 Michigan. Harbaugh goes for two.

All year long people having been waiting for that "excellent play" by the Bucks to show up.  And they haven't really dominated aside from against crappy teams.  This season they just don't seem to have jelled for whatever reason.  While they could play great, I think we are more likely to see the same underperforming group we have seen all year.  That doesn't mean we automatically win, they have great talent, but if they were going to be a great team this year, we would have seen it by now.  Maybe if they had gone with Barrett all year, they would have been great; but I don't see it happening overnight.

Ezekiel Elliot issued an apology today for his comments. During the apology, he basically said "However, I don't regret anything I said." Hahahahaha

"I am sorry for all those offended by the statements made by me after OUR loss Saturday. My intentions were not to point fingers at anyone for OUR failure. I was caught up in emotions. I hope everyone can understand how strongly I love this team and this university and how much I wanted to win that game but I do not regret anything I said..." Zeke already has the non-apology apology thing down pat!

more like, "Everything I said was true but I should not have said that I was going to for sure go pro now because I was going to anyway and what I said was an afront to my coach and just made the entire team and fan base feel even worse than they did already after a really bad loss and right before our biggest rivalry game when we are theoretically still alive for both a conference title and the Playoff."

Besides the obvious "losing the locker room" part the announcements by Jones, Elliott, Bosa(?) seems to me like a major slap in the face to the entire UM/OSU rivalry. This is supposed to be the biggest rivalry in college football let alone all sports. These announcements are actually announcing that you think you are bigger than your teammates, your university, and The Game. Alums on both sides of this rivalry have to be pissed by this. Bo (and possibly Harbaugh) would kick their asses off the team for doing something like this.

While it is technically still a rivalry, losing 9-10 doesn't really allow us to be slighted by anything they say or do. Osu has dominated this rivalry for a decade, they have earned the right to do as they please until we shut them up. Losing 9 of 10 doesn't command respect, nor should it. We finally have a coach capable of hanging with osu, so enjoy it instead of worrying about what osu's players are doing.
