What are you drinking thread
I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden I found myself in the mood to drink.... heavily.
Just poured myself a 16 oz glass of Fireball Whiskey (don't judge, I am a fan) on the rocks.
So what are you drinking?

The perfect intersection between whiskey and a child's candy.

7.7% isn't nearly enough to cope with this game. though i do love the choice of beer.

They played like their lives depended upon winning this game. They outhustled, outplayed, outshot, and quite frankly, out "give-a-shit'd" us in all facets of the game tonight. They won this game much in the way we had won games the past few years, with heart, grit, determination, and some timely shooting. They capitolized on every opportunity and embraced every bit of adversity that came their way, we did not; it's that simple.
Call it an overreaction if you want, but I miss the days of having the less talented team but knowing we had a shot to win anyway because our players would be the ones doing the little things necessary to win a close game. The only hope I have is that this loss (and I would have thought the embarassment at Breslin could have achieved this) lights a fire under our players and inspires them to play with the heart of a champion. I keep waiting for someone to have a Novakian moment that lifts this team to the level of play we have come to expect from a team this talented, and I will continue until it happens or the season ends upbruptly due to the absence of such a moment. A win over Sparty can cure most anything, and let's hope it happens.

Go figure a game I don't think I need anything to drink and this B.S. happens. Now I'm wishing I had all the liquor!!

This sucks. I'm breaking out the vodka.

How often does that happen? Unless I'm completely mistaken (and I don't think I am) you aren't usually drowning losses in vodka. Hopefully this means something good turned up on the "other" front or you have something else to do that's somewhat fun.

was enjoying a 750 of ommegang art of darkness during the game. with ~5 minutes left, i pounded what was left and switched to heavy-handed white russians. it didn't work. i still remember us losing.

I drank heavily during and following the game while I had a terrible night of bowling. Proceeded to consume a lot of McDonalds breakfast at 2:30 am. Woke up hungover and with sinus congestion worse than any other point during the season. Went to a job interview at 11, received request for final round interview at 12:15. It may just be OK in life still.
