Weekend Visits

Submitted by mabrsu on
Does anyone know how the recruiting weekend went? I am curious if they think they can get that JUCO guy eligible after his trip to the academic center. Did Will enjoy his time enough to stop taking visits? Also did anyone show up that wasn't expected

Great! I do not care who it is just don't want him wondering around taking anymore visits honestly. That whole thing with Les Miles at the top of death valley looking out ontop of the campus soudned so cool. We don't need to compete with other really cool things for him to experience.

sounded more of a homo move by Les then anything else to me...Don't you usually bring your girlfriend to the top of a building and look out over something pretty and then pop the question. LOL. Just my view but it sounded kinda gay. Last I knew 18 year old could care less about looking over a town with another male.

Hey you never know, I am sure under that big mean 300 pound frame of Campbells lies a sweet and sensitive guy who has a heart for these things. I heard that Les Miles recites good poetry and serenades his guys on top of Death Valley in order to lure them in.

McPhee and Campbell. The rest of the group was Bell, Toussaint, Teric Jones, Thomas Gordon and Justin Turner. Dior Mathis and William Gholston were there unofficially. Lewan had his state championship game. Tate committed to UNC, Patterson's mom couldn't make it (I think) so he may reschedule for January and I think there was one more that rescheduled at the last minute.

The Army All-American Bowl is on January 4. He's announcing publicly then. I think he already tipped his hand, though (if we didn't know that already). In a Rivals interview, he said about Michigan, "I just wanna go up there and take a spot." He's Blue.

If this year is anything like last year, in which we signed 9 more kids after December, I think we could almost reach 30 recruits or reach 30 after all is said n done.

Is it not true that early enrollees will be tacked on the previous class? And from what I have been reading, theres some attrition going on. To sum it up, I want the best damn class in the country to show the iron fist Michigan will have in the future on college football

The signing of a LOI does not make it a binding agreement. If Michigan received 30 letters of intent but could only accept 27 (or whatever numbers you want to throw in there), they could choose the 27 they want and tell the other three kids the class is full. It's not first come, first served.

Apparently Rich Rod likes to recruit a ton of guys as shown in his last recruiting classes. 2002-34, 2005-32, 2007-28, 2008-30.
