Vlad Emilien--how injured is he, really?

Submitted by MFDoom_ on
On my way to class I passed by vlad and saw him on crutches wearing a cast on his leg. I'm no doctor but having been told that his injury is not that serious and then seeing this I'm a little let down to think he'll be out for at least a little while. I was really hoping he could solidify himself as a contributor this spring. EDIT: There's been some confusion over my choice of words when I said "wearing a cast". He was in some sort of plastic brace/cast and using crutches to get around.

Is duly noted and appreciated. I'm going to write about it in my Journal tonight before bedtime. But there are some Bobby Brady's patroling this blog and they're going to put you on report for this.

Might seem a bit over the top on a clarification, but how long/big was the cast? I've heard cast some places and brace elsewhere. Not questioning, but it might help us understand. Thanks.

There was a post here that said that it was Stokes who was in a boot. FWIW, GBMW had up a report of the 1st team defense during Spring practice that listed Vlad as the 1st team Deep Safety. So either this is a report given before the injury or there is a case of mistaken identity. I would have thought, though, that at least one sports media gremlin would have asked..."Talk about injuries" (I use this even though there is no question mark because this seems to be the most popular 2 words uttered by Communications majors turned sports "journalists")

everything i have read said vlad tweaked his other knee (not the one he had hurt in high school) and that stokes was a lower part of his leg. i dont know about you but whenever i have seen people who tweaked a knee i havent seen them in a cast but more of a brace. it was probably stokes
