Someday, people who speak ill of polygamists will be looked back upon and viewed with the same contempt as those who oppose gay marriage.  Consenting adults have the right to do as they choose, without fearing Judeo-Chrstian traditionalists who wish to act as society's moral police.  If they are happy, why discriminate against them?

Never understood polygamy. I have a sweet and beautiful wife. Has given me three amazing kids. Loves me to the ends of the world. But, damn, one wife is enough work. It'd be like getting a second full time job.

I've often thought the same -- one wife is challenging enough!  But, in fact, it makes it easier because it plays the wives off each other.  If one wife isn't happy, that isn't his problem.  He just goes to another wife.  And all the wives know it.  Quite a neat system of manipulation and control.  But I wouldn't exactly call it love.

Never trust a group of people who want to give you more wives and less coffee.

I have to try to separate the people from the art they create. I think he is probably a egomaniacal sociopath, but I also think he makes really good music - both his own and producing for others. Don't like the man but he makes good things, that's probably true for a lot of people in history.

Edit: did I reply to a deleted comment? :(

Thats actually a pretty good beer, it's especially good after skiing.  Which is, I imagine, the point.  Personally, I like that there's a sense of humor about it.

I always like the view from Salt Lake, especially from up above the avenues or on Mt. Olympus.  Good times.

As an aside - you crave the amazing spring fed lakes of Michigan when in the desert there.  Man I missed Higgins and Torch lake.  Rant over.  I wish I were going to the game.
