When Michael Jordan punched Steve Kerr in practice, most people chalked it up to an attempt at leadership. If Rodman had done it, it would have been widely viewed as a distraction. Judging by the reaction thus far, this is being viewed as a distraction for the Warriors. I'll let you draw your own conclusion as to what that means about all the talk of "Draymond as team leader."

This is a cheap shot but those calling this a sucker punch are reaching.  He simply threw the first punch after the shove.  Poole should have been ready/mindful.

That said Drammond is a punk and I can’t stand him or his antics and hopefully the team just shows him the door.

In The Last Dance Jordan talks about picking a fight with Steve Kerr, feeling bad about it, and how Kerr felt good for standing up for himself. This doesn't look like that at all.

Draymond is not MJ. His suspension in the 2016 finals may have cost Golden State a ring. At a certain point you have to manage your emotions or they will only become a liability for you. Refs will always focus more on a guy like him and opponents know he's easy to lure. No basketball player should be so consistently top-3 in techs.

I'll give him all the credit in the world for his game but would rather have a guy like Pascal Siakam over him any day, not for his scoring but his temperament and focus.

No need to even look.  Surely they are proud of him, and consider getting punched in the face while your hands are down a sign of being soft.  Throw in some talk about any Michigan player/fan deserving it and that we can't beat them in football since "Mr. Career .500" showed up, and that should just about do it.

“Not everybody is the perfect person in the world…Everyone does -- sucker punches teammates, murders people, assaults you, assaults me. I just feel that people need to give him a chance.”

Draymomd is a cocksucker and I would tell everyone around as long as he lives I’m throwing one on him for the rest of time whenever I see him.

I am not a fan of Green, but to his credit - he publicly owned up to his actions and apologized to Poole AND Poole's family.

"No. 1, I was wrong for my actions," Green said. He added that he has apologized to Poole and Poole's family.

"There's a huge embarrassment that comes with [this]," Green said. "Not only for myself, as I was the one who committed the action ... but the embarrassment that Jordan has to deal with and that this team has to deal with, this organization has to deal with. But also Jordan's family. His family saw that video. His mother, his father saw that video. If my mother saw that video, I know how my mother would feel."
