We beat a Donovan Mitchell-led #2 seed Louisville in 2017 after coming off a similar second half of a round one game. I don’t see why we can’t win. It’ll take a lot, and can’t fall behind like we did today.

Maybe work Jones in a little off ball with Collins. Bufkin looked not ready today and we can’t expect Brooks to play near 40 minutes again

Seems odd that stuff usually tracks Kenpom which I think would have them +10 on a neutral floor (which assumes Jones plays).  Are we considered to be at semi-home or something?

We need to find a local Indy high school team, play a quick game with them tomorrow, and then lose it to get off of our W-L-W-L pattern.

I live and work in Knoxville and a shocking lack of buzz about their basketball team.  This is a very good team, but these folks would be more excited about a second place finish in the SEC East football standings.

-6 actually seems a little light.  If UT is hitting from outside they are really hard to beat.  Look out for James.  The last quarter of the season he has really turned on his outside shooting (he gets a lot of open looks because he is not known as a "shooter")  When he is going the spacing gets to be too much and they have two guards that can get to the rim.

Going to take a great game from UM, and I really think they need Jones back to lean on their freshman 5 star PG (Chandler). I do worry that kid is too quick for Jones and it may be necessary to put Frankie on him to stop blow byes. UT will struggle with Dickenson.  Bigs that can score give them a hard time.

Either way, proud of how the team played yesterday!   Go Blue! Let's see what happens.

That actually feels about right and you know, the best part is, basically all the pressure is on Tennessee. No one expects us to win. The team can just have fun and see how the chips fall.

Love the position we're in.

Sounds about right.  UK playing like butt and UT having some trouble with Longwood early on probably gave some bettors pause but on paper Tennessee is a really good team and UM might not have their starting PG for another game.

That said, it's a nice spot for UM to be in because there's no pressure on them and they did just have a nice second half in a tough game so perhaps they can build on it.

Tennessee looks to me like last years Baylor’s squad in terms of roster composition…anyone else feel that way? Chandler, Vescovi, Ziegler as your guards (all smaller than 6 3), James as the wing (6 6), and Fulkerson/Plavsic as the bigs (6 9 and 7 0). Fulkerson takes 2/3 minutes almost.
