I imagine this will be a tighter game, but the slow start to last night's game was followed by a late 2nd period 3 goal explosion in 5.3 minutes, including a last-seconds goal. It's nice to have that kind of firepower.

Listened to the M radio broadcast last night and tonight.  I know this is way OT, but color commentator Max S has such a strange pattern to his speech — like the last syllable of the last word gets hung up in his mouth.  It’s just odd, especially for a native Michigander .. sounds like an early 80s valley girl.

You could tell in the 3 on 3 who was the more skilled team. Gotta love them playing through lopsided officiating. Tripping and slashing called one way but it didn't matter.

ASU may in fact be Minnesota.  But at least Michigan isn't... Michigan.  It was sloppy, especially in the second period.  But they played through it and ground out a result.

Hey, ASU may be 8th of 8 in the Big Ten this year but we crushed them in a way we didn't to Minnesota. This would be like if football held Minnesota to a field goal and a few first downs en route to a 56-3 beatdown. Even if ASU is worst, Michigan stomped them like you'd expect a top team to do. The football team showed cracks vs Minnesota

Mel Pearson recruiting is like how OSU or Bama football is recruiting. Beniers, Power, and Johnson are all almost certainly in the top 10 of this incoming class and Bordeleau is gonna be around there too. I wonder if part of Mel being able to get Beniers over here post-Harvard was the draw of playing with a lot of talent around you
