For sweeping a team we're better than at home? Nah.

Agreed. We haven’t won anything yet. Let’s save the muppets for our first regular season big ten championship.

But shutting out the buckeyes for a sweep should be celebrated, shouldn't it?

Shutting out the buckeyes for a sweep should be the norm - we celebrate but we celebrate like when we sweep FYS.
Save the muppets for a banner or a frozen four.

Maybe I’m on the conservative side, but I’d say we wait until, Lord willing, we win the big 10 championship next weekend.

I'm so excited!!! The Big Ten website will show us in third place tomorrow!!!

We have the tiebreaker so magic number for the bye is 4 points.

And hopefully Bucky does us a favor and makes it even easier than that

Magic numbers apply both ways. :)

Quite the defensive clinic in the third period. Jacques Demers would be proud.

Agree 100%!
That 3rd period was a Michigan defensive gem, Ohio Stank got poop when it came to puck possession on our end and extended scoring opportunities, especially over the last 10-12 minutes.
Go BLUE!!!

Great game, great weekend, and the Children of Yost brought it hard both games! Luke Hughes might not actually be human! Love the energy, onwards and upwards to a B10 Championship!

Go Blue!

To make this night even better, I saw a clip of Izzo almost crying about the officiating in MSU's loss to Illinois. The day that diminutive clown retires can't come soon enough.

I saw that clip after the game as well. His whining about officiating is the height of irony. No team in the Big Ten benefits more from the zebras than MSU.

TBF, he sounds like any Michigan fan after the team gets hosed at Crisler lol. Just odd seeing a coach be so open about it at a presser.

That was so pathetic. That guy doesn’t have a shred of dignity left, yet espn and all Spartan fans act like he is John wooden.

I have a retaining wall... I named it "Portillo".

Thoroughly enjoyed this game - that 3rd period flew by - Michigan still gives up too many turnovers on their end of the ice that turn into OMRs, but they can get away with it against OSU, and this is a really fun team to watch, regardless!
Luke Hughes has been playing at a whole other level these past few weeks - that goal was ridiculous. It was so good - just rewatched it two more times on the Michigan Hockey twitter feed!

Pure brilliance!
