Tyler O'Connor plays the toughness card, but with a twist

Submitted by NateVolk on

He said it was a Michigan player who admitted to him MSU was tougher. Or something.

Guy is better story teller than passer. Which isn't saying much.  This was linked on social media and not paywalled content on Rivals, so I assume it's OK to post.

I think Formerly Yoda is trying to say that in the goofy dick-measuring contest that is comparing where one went to school that some people have goofy excuses. Whether or not Formerly Yoda meant it this way, it doesn't change the fact that comparing where one went to school is a goofy dick-measuring contest.

I know us Michigan fans complained a lot when we lost that rival, but Sparty is taking it to a new level. Stop being a whiney pussy and shut the fuck up. Take the L and move on with your 2-6 record.

I could see someone saying that they played hard or they were tough, but there's not a football player on earth worth a damn who would say that. No way in hell.

MSU fans change the truth to fit whatever narrative they want.  Bring up this year and it's all about 7 of 8 or "it's only one season!"  Last year all I heard was how Harbaugh would take time to turn the program around or how he wasn't as good as Mork anyway.  They are literally like the little brother who can talk trash while getting his ass beat in whatever competition is going on.  Meanwhile my lifelong Michigan fan father treated yesterday like a loss because Michigan didn't utterly dominate.  Michigan fans know exellence and won't settle for less, while Spartan fans find the boundaries of sportsmanship and shit all over them.

My favorite that I heard a lot was;

Before Harbaugh came back to Michigan:  "Harbaugh is a great coach, but there's ZERO CHANCE he would leave the NFL to go to Michigan!  LOL @ delusional Michigan fans!"

After Harbaugh came back:  "Big deal, Harbaugh isn't really that good anyhow!  No way that guy is a top 10 college coach!  He'll be lucky to turn Michigan back into an 8-4 team!  LOL stupid Michigan fans!"

After winning a lot of games:  "OK, Harbaugh is a great coach, but there's no way he'll stay at Michigan more than a year or two, tops!  LOL Michigan fans are morons if they'll think he's not gone soon"
