Tunsil Admits Taking Money From Coach
Laremy Tunsil asked if he took money from a coach. "I'd have to say yeah."

do what Hugh Freeze wants and let [email protected] know about the recruiting violations!

How can his Agent just leave him out there? He was clearly flustered, sweating, and the reporters were continuing to push him. The agent needed to come in and shut it down 5 questions before he was ever asked about taking money.

Ah, the beauty of agents. They make you rich while still allowing you to be stupid.

The quote in question comes around 2:50. I honestly feel bad for him. He seems like a good guy and it sucks that he's going to get so much hate for telling the truth. Also he obviously has some shitty friends/family members.
The most puzzling thing is that his agent apparently didn't give him any instructions on how to handle these types of questions. He should have declined to comment on anything relating to the recent Twitter/Insta stuff.
Edit: not really sure how to embed on this 1999 ass forum, and I'm not gonna figure out how.
You can bet the NCAA will quickly reverse it's sat camp decision back to banning it just to try and divert attention away to the slimy cheating SEC story.
What else is new? Ole Miss will put itself on probation, cut back six schollies over 3 years, and the NCAA will just shrug it's shoulders and be like "ok."

and I feel oddly bad for the kid, too, but this gives Old Miss a recruiting advantage if they pay family bills. It's not allowed. and they need to suffer punishment.
If you're gonna pay, use bitcoin.

So, why aren't the Ole Miss Bagmen the ones taking care of this kind of thing? Make them do their job.
Freeze really is getting lazy.
But I do not blame Tunsil or Treadwell even a litle. If I were a 5-star prospect, I wouldn't have to ask for money-- because I'd be getting regular sacks of cash delivered to me.
*Pun Not Intended
In light of this new information, I'm sure the NCAA will somehow find a way to swiftly and harshly punish the Ole Miss Women's basketball team. A la UNC.

Their AD's reaction to all this?

that bothers me most, isn't necessarily the fact that Ole Miss did this, but rather the FIFA like corruption that is in the governing body of my favorite sport to follow. The sad thing to me is that if this kind of news came from a player from Michigan, or Northwestern.....or any non-southern school it seems. The NCAA would be at the front steps of the school announcing an infractions investigation the next morning. NCAA is a complete joke

This won't affect Miss other than to be embarassing.
In order to prosecute this, the NCAA will need Tunsil's cooperation, which is highly unlikely to occur.
Even though everyone and their mother heard him admit he took money, it likely won't matter unless the school voluntarily presents a statement of guilt in some form.

Nothing will happen.
At least, nothing major. I'm fairly sure of that.
most everyone EXCEPT THE NCAA knows whats going on in the SEC and still does absolutely NOTHING which tells me collusion between the two..I really wish the DOJ would get involved as they were about to do in the satellite ban case. The NCAA capitulation probably means they were afraid of the DOJ getting involved and uncovering all the collusion and corruption....can you say FIFA?
Remember when Ole Miss "self reported" violations last month (and tried to drum up some sympathy by downplaying the violations?
I wonder if any of their reported violations is Tunsil related.... Ohh wait, there is one related to Tunsil about a loaner car, but that's it? Hmmm strange...
