Why would Alabama be motivated to play a "brand" like Michigan. They play 4-5 schools every season with a brand better than Michigan. I can see them getting motivated to not let a school with a "brand" like Michigan beat them (ie. don't let the 3-4th best team in the B10 beat them).

I'm sure Saban has a lot of high-four star underclassment that didn't see the field much this year and are competing for playing time next year.
If a Bama player is returning for 2020, he better be motivated.

Alabama will be motivated. The thought that they won’t be is just an excuse in case they lose. I see Michigan as an equal to Auburn. Auburn beat them and so can we. Auburn got a few breaks in that game and we may need to get them as well. I think it will be a tight game and if we win, all we will hear will be excuses from Bama fans. They didn’t want to get hurt, they weren’t motivated, Tua couldn’t play, etc. Maybe it’s because the mighty Tide would’ve been the 4th best team in the Big Ten East this year.
