I was born in 1990. I barely remember 1997. My uncle has told me that he feels bad for me that I've never really gotten to witness glorious Michigan football. This must be what it feels like. This team is absolutely the real deal. After watching OSU struggle against Nebraska and lose to Purdue...oh man this is gonna be a season for the ages. Let's go.

Post season process - very different from 97 but overall teams look similar in a lot of ways.
Like our hoops run this spring, play one game at a time and stay focused. Fuck the things we can’t control.

And not even week 1. It was the first quarter of the first game. We gave up 14 points in 2 possessions, but ever since that, we have been focused.

Still, even if not quite '97 level yet, it felt very much like those Saturdays in the Bo era when we just came out and imposed our will on the rest of the league leading towards the inevitable showdown at season's end. This team is something special right now.

I’m trying to curtail my excitement, but it is difficult. OSU is going to be a difficult game. Thankfully we have two easy games before them. Hopefully blow them both out and allow the starters to sit in the second halves. Maybe for once we’ll have a fully healthy team going into the OSU game.
