And DJ Durkin was announced as the new DC at Texas A&M (although apparently this had been known for a while).

Partridge getting sole DC duties or is Kiffin bringing in someone else?
Edit: Nevermind. Just found this:
Head coach Lane Kiffin hired Charlie Weis Jr. as co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, Chris Kiffin as co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach, Marquel Blackwell as running backs coach and Nick Savage as head strength and conditioning coach.

So, Partridge remains as a co-DC?
January 21st, 2022 at 2:19 PM ^
That's what it looks like. Apparently Lane wanted his brother on staff and gave him co-DC title to move from the Browns?

DJD is an awful person, but a phenomenal DC. A&M will be great in D*

Produce data to support this: I don't see it.

Los Angeles abhors an offensive line ankle flexion vacuum.

Interesting hire, not sure how this match will work, Drevno has been in more traditional offenses, right?

How does this guy keep getting good jobs???
January 21st, 2022 at 2:06 PM ^
He sports a beard now. Maybe Chip Kelly mistook him for this guy:

What does this mean for Harbaugh to the NFL? Is it good news or bad news?
January 21st, 2022 at 1:51 PM ^
Yes. No. Maybe?
January 21st, 2022 at 3:32 PM ^
I don't know.
Can you repeat the question?

You're not the boss of me!
January 21st, 2022 at 3:33 PM ^

January 21st, 2022 at 1:56 PM ^
Of course - this is completely correct!

Is it just me or has Drevno lost a lot of weight?
January 21st, 2022 at 2:08 PM ^
That is the only thought that I had when opening this thread.
January 21st, 2022 at 2:32 PM ^
Same here. Prepare the flyover stereotypes on diet and fitness.

Drevno is a good coach, it didn't work out here and struggled to recruit here, but I wish him well.

Keep pumping that water Drev

Sweet another rough recruiter on Chip Kelly's staff, this is going to be amazing. What happens to a college football program that refuses to recruit? Stick around to find out.
January 21st, 2022 at 5:33 PM ^
IIRC, Tim Drevno does not hate recruiting, he just focuses on weird metrics and measurables in his evaluations. By comparison, Chip Kelly seems to hate everything about the recruiting process.

RIP to UCLA's offensive line play and possibly their entire offense

Feel like 90% of getting coaching jobs is about having had same job elsewhere. In a field where performance is so visible and easy to assess, you’d think fewer of these guys would continue to get hired year after year.

Charbonnet is the biggest loser of this hire. He may want to rethink coming back for his senior season now. His numbers will probably plummet from last years
