Not the most compelling matchups tonight, but it is football nonetheless:

7:30 PM - TCU vs. Texas Tech on ESPN

7:30 PM - Troy vs. Arkansas St. on ESPNU

7:30 PM - Tulane vs. Louisiana Tech on Fox Sports 1

eeeehhhhhh, that was not a fair catch. I think the returner initially wanted to do one, but pulled back. TCU got robbed there.

Just a dumb play. I have seen players drop the ball at the one so many times i have lost count. If that was me, I would be holding on to that ball for dear life.

Also agree with Pollack for once, that rule should be changed to make it a touchback.

First the fair catch fiasco for TCU and now an early drop and an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty puts Texas Tech at the 15 1/2...then the holding call negates the gain of 6 and puts it just behind the 20 yard line, and THEN....the touchdown. Arguably, this was the most bizarre drive of the game. Arguably.

That fox would make better calls. Edit: also to be clear I was pulling for Tech since I want all non Big Ten ranked teams to lose. These refs just stink.

Meanwhile, the back judge has flagged Trevone Boykin for a balk and TCU will be awarded possession of the puck at the 35 yard line.

...and that's game, oh effed up game. TCU outgained Texas Tech by a margin of 62 yards (401 to 339). There were 205 yards of penalty yards in this game too.

Oh boy Troy, woof. Guy pulls a Gardner but unfortunately doesn't have the athleticism to get away (or maybe it's fortunately he gets sacked before he can toss it to the other team).
