Wow, Texas's defense has GERG's fingerprints all over it. Luckily for Texas fans, they'll only have to deal with him until the end of this season. I'd be shocked if Mack Brown and Co. will have employment much longer after that.

Omfg watching the Big 12 is asking for my eyes to be gouged out. What the hell have you done with my precious football??

Is there a single team outside of Oklahoma and maybe Baylor whose offensive power is not the product of terrible defensive competition? This is atrocious atrocious football. Ugh.

Yeah I know.. BIG TEHNNN and all.. right.

Statistically, the Big 10 is split into 6 elite-to-great defenses and 6 really bad defenses. (6 teams in the top-20ish MSU, Iowa, Wisconsin, Penn State, Ohio, and Michigan).

The Big 12, however, has 2 great defenses (Oklahoma and Baylor in the top 20) and 8 mediocre-to-bad-to-terrible defenses. As I stated in my post, Oklahoma and Baylor are definitely good teams. Everyone else is flawed and it will only get worse once they start playing each other.

UCLA punts on 4th and 3 from the Utah 35. Quick kick results in Utes ball at their own 8. Worked out ok but wonder it'd be better to try and maintain possession there.

In about another play or two, Iowa State will be not the first team to put up over 400 yards on Texas this year. My guess is that Brown's attitude towards his own position on the "hot seat" sounds like "Some like it hot but you can't tell how hot 'til you try...some like it hot so let's turn up the heat 'til we fry".

Not sure what the public was thinking here laying 9 on Iowa State. Even when Ash was announced as out, -7 on a team on the ropes with a back up QB on the road? John Q must have thought that Mack could circle the wagons in the bye. Problem that big run deep....

naw man its not logical betting with college teams due to bias towards Texas. remember, the line isn't what the public thinks what will happen, but rather the way to split betting at 50-50, in order to make the most money. and if extra people bet on Texas, then that line works.

Any one else rooting for Texas?  Having Mack Brown around for another year might help us open up the Texas recruiting pipeline.  I believe Stonum was the last elite recruit we've gotten out of Texas.
