This was from will Johnson. 5 star recruit. So I’m assuming he likes it. If he does then other recruits may as well. That would be a reason for it.
i like white or blue jerseys way over the maize. But I think this is actually better than all maize. That’s gross. We looked stupid even while winning.
with our helmet I’m never worried about looking like someone else. We will always be showing others how much better they could be.

Not gonna lie, I don't hate it. Dark pants and a light shirt is sartorially acceptable. I could see us killing MSU in those. I just don't think it looks like Michigan.
EDIT: I wonder what those shirts would look like if you ran a blue stripe down each side and split them about an inch up, as with a polo. It's just too damned much yellow, and I'm not sure either the blue OR yellow is quite right.
EDIT: No, it still wouldn't be Michigan.

I agree the WVU comparisons are weird. As if UM is the only school to wear the other jersey combos. I like some combos better than others but no combination of these beautiful colors is ugly. They're all amaizing in their own way.... except the bumblebee unis. Those were... sad.

To be honest, I'd be willing to give that uni a second look if they lose the gigantic "STAEE" across the jersey and make the numbers neon green. They'd look better losing with dignity with those minor adjustments.

I don't think the green on green works. Just change to the neon green with white if they want a different look. You are right, the STATE looks horrible and poorly placed and sized.
I'm not a fan of their current Font on their standard jerseys though. Michigan's numbers look great
