Stalbombs returns?

Submitted by GoBlueSimon on January 2nd, 2024 at 10:38 AM

Maybe I am wrong, but a few days back I tried to find the Stalbombs account on Twitter/X to show an Ohio State fan friend of mine the rumblings and I couldn't find it at all.

Last night when I was scrolling the sweet and delicious tears of Ohio State fans on X, I noticed that the person behind the account had posted a new Tweet.  Anyone else notice it disappeared for a while and then popped back up after Michigan's victory?

Well at least this is bumping Finebaum down.

I don't get you guys.  Michigan just won the Rose Bowl and you wanna talk about Paul Finebaum and someone's Twitter account?

Finebaum was actually very complimentary of the Michigan program this morning on Greenberg. He said after being around the Michigan team for a week he walked away with a total different perspective on the program and the great kids in it. He also said if they win the natty they will be true champions.

Fuck finebaum. He’s a clickbait analyst for ESPN. The dude has gone on multiple shows, shat on UM and made it apparent he would never recognize UM as champions should they win it all. Now that his team got dominated by America’s team, his narrative has changed. He needs to apologize, admit he was wrong, and own his one sided BS argument. The dude is a worm.

I love how he spun it that if UM wins it all it’s no longer tainted because all of CFB is a mess. Funny, nothing has changed since PSU asides from people like this moron wanting UM to get the death penalty. NOW, finebaum is changing his narrative because his favorite conference and team got destroyed?

Its all a fucking joke, a sad joke.  Nothing will come of any of it because none of it matters anymore.  Signgate was overblown because Michigan and middle of the season, and it was orchestrated by a PR group with an agenda.  Nothing of the sort going on here, just another doofus with a twitter account.

They are convinced.

A) Cheating is the only reason we are what we are, which shows they don't know ball. 2021 we crushed them in the trenches. 2022 the changed their signs. 2023 we do it again.

B) We are only good because we have 44 6th year seniors. They will be very sad to see how loaded we are again next year.

C) The NCAA will destroy us since they can't.

They are now also convinced that the FBI is investigating the program, not just Weiss, and that's why the NCAA investigation isn't wrapping up faster.  And they think that "the cheating continued" after Stalions was suspended, because reasons.

I get that we all like endorsing our theories and opinions, but most reasonable people are capable of saying "This is what I think.  But, I'm willing to acknowledge that I may be wrong."

The majority of 'people' on that board are completely incapable of the second part of that - none of them are willing to admit that what they think/hope happened might not fit reality.

It's been comical watching them go from thinking the Buckeyes would punish Michigan on the field, to thinking Alabama would/should do it because OSU can't, to now hoping Washington will do it, while still hoping the NCAA "nukes" the program.   Sad lot, those folks.

There it was again.

That all-familiar twitch in my gut. Spending the holiday alone comes as a familiar comfort paired with the usual coffee drip and a re-warmed croissant. Yet the solitary Tuesday morning wasn't disturbed by the distant drone of Pete Finebaum on the TV. No, this felt more permeating -- more personal. Like a cold breath thru the back of my neck.

I immediately thrusted my phone up and in front of me to check the space reflected behind me. No, I was safe in this empty apartment; yet I saw it. Or did I? The phone stuck to my hand was dimming off the heels of a whispering notification. Refreshing yielded nothing.

But I know I felt it.

A distant rumble. Could it be? The promised StalBomb?

Closing my eyes I took a deep breath, and upon opening it had passed. Alas, it was only gas...

Thanks for the head's up.

Here's what's new:

NCAA is trying to make it look like CS and Michigan were the only ones doing advance scouting but that's not the case.

Nobody from the NCAA, BiG or U-M athletic office even attempted to interview CS and it was falsely leaked that CS did not cooperate.

SMU had escorted a fan from their stadium - believed to be working on Oklahoma's behalf - for filming SMU's sideline.

Thamel was e-mailed info about OSU obtaining Maryland signal film plus PSU practice and OU filming SMU sideline but no action taken.

Venable was sending people to games to steal signs all the way back to his Clemson days.

Utah has been advance scouting Pac 12 opponents.

That POS was at the game yesterday. Can't we just get a restraining order on him or something?

Every time he appears somewhere it's gonna make us look bad. Fuck that guy.

he was a superfan before working at the program, and he'll be a superfan long after.  as long as he's not invited to any official team events, who gives a shit what he does?  if idiots on 11W want to suggest that CS continuing to attend M games means that M is still cheating, or some other dumb bullshit, so what?

a lot of stupid people in the world hold a lot of stupid opinions.  life's too short to worry about them.

The NCAA doesn't care that Connor Stalions attended the Rose Bowl as a ticket-purchasing member of the public.  Nor should anyone else.
