Harbaugh would have to be insane to take that job.  Snyder meddles all the time through his Redskins President, Allen.

As an owner Snyder isn't much better than Yed Jork.

Synder has a comparable track record with Yed as an incompetent asshole owner.  And is probably a bigger asshole.  He's the guy that cut down a forest to improve his view of the Potomac River - despite that it was illegal to do so and he specifically defied Park Dept orders not to do so.  He got his money when Daddy asked him what business to purchase to get him started.

Jack Kent Cooke fucked his children upon his death.  His will put the team up for auction, instead of passing it on.  Synder won the auction.  Couldn't have found a less qualified human being to own a team as beloved as the Redskins in this town...

Agreed, here's a link to a local guy's take on Dan Snyder's early years as owner.  Dave McKenna who wrote this left the Washington City Paper soon after this was written back in 2010.  I've always suspected Snyder got him fired.  Read and enjoy...

"made a great view of the Potomac River for himself by going all Agent Orange on federally protected lands"

Dynasties always seem like they'll last forever but that's never happened. Think of Miami, Florida State, Texas, USC, Oregon, etc. Look at Notre Dame in the decade+ before hiring Kelly. It just takes one mistake hire to make everything implode and take years if not longer to fix. Look what happened to us…

Not for this job, I don't think...

But this is the first season I've thought Harbaugh might consider going back to an NFL gig. Last year I thought he was in Ann Arbor for life. This year I'm not so sure...

Tomlin is PERFECT for DC.  Vastly overrated, but the national media loves him.  Seriously, Pittsburgh has had more talent than any NFL team for past decade, but Tomlin finds a way to mess it up.  All you need to know about Tomlin is what Michelle Tafoya reported after the 1st half of Pats - Steelers.

Belichick: "we expect the Steelers to change things up in the 2nd half, expect the unexpected, but will be ready for changes".

Tomlin: "we know who we are and just have to execute better".  Hey dipshit, it was 20 zip! Pittsburgh might be good again with a capable coach.

No coach with any common sense should take that job.  I'm sure some college coach will give it a shot, but the Redskins aren't remotely close to competing for a SB and have one of the worst owners in sports.

I could see Jim going back to the NFL at some point in the near future, but it is not going to be Washington. No way he works for an owner like Snyder after his run ins with York in SF. Jim has exhibited some off the wall behavior in his career, but he is not that crazy.
