The world makes sense again.

Stay classy, East Lansing.
September 9th, 2010 at 2:33 PM ^
Remember - to stay classy, one has to be classy. I'm not sure this phrase is applicable.

I heard they wouldn't have bothered with the nets, but the beer was Icehouse so they had no choice.

Maybe they should call it a "Spart-ition."

For those interested, in the Wednesday 3:00-5:00 podcast, at the 55:15 left mark.

In other news, girls from East Lansing have VD

we use the brute uncouth-th-ness of the men against them, our own gallantry evident as we SEPARATE their women from them. Women are GOOD. WE LIKE-Y. WE TAKE-Y.

We "Michigan Men" provide so much for MSU women to find attractive that Spartan men don't offer. Such as: we use intelligible words v. grunts and snorts, we bathe regularly, we have homes that don't come on wheels, (unless we're camping) and we have steady forms of income that don't require a good lawyer to mediate.

M Student - "Can we dance with your dates?"
MSU Students - "We were just leaving!!"
We Take-y!

But it somehow does not surprise me.
Note that ESPN does not use couches on their sets... any wonder why?

is clearly the result of decades of living in the shadow of the Greatness that is Michigan football.

When was Gameday last in East Lansing?

The only surprising thing in this whole story was why GameDay would be in East Lansing?? Did they get lost or the trucks break down.......sure it wasn't basketball GameDay. MSU football is about as relevent for them as the Ivy League.
September 9th, 2010 at 3:00 PM ^
Gameday wasn't in East Lansing for MSU, it was there for Michigan. It just happened that the game was held there.
September 9th, 2010 at 2:41 PM ^
I doubt the gameday crew will be making another trip to EL anytime soon.

Sparty should figure out some way to incorporate their contribution to this great innovation in broadcast journalism on those university commercials that they run on gamedays. It would probably trump their other innovations such as a cordless cattle inseminator and the frictionless horse rectum thermometer.

And the ice cream flavors "Cow Semen" and "Horse Shit", as well.

Cow's don't have semen, it's the bulls that do.

isn't going to be a big seller.
September 9th, 2010 at 4:07 PM ^
Sparty NO!
September 9th, 2010 at 5:37 PM ^
That woulda been my first guess

MSU isn't the only place where they pegged the Gameday gang. Kirk got hit with a beer can at LSU once and later that year, he got hit with a Marshmallow in Ann Arbor.
