SOTS 2017 - Guest List?

I thought SOTS 2016 was a huge success. It is something that we definitely should continue every year.

So, for the next year, who do you think should participate? This year's guest list was pretty darn impressive and I think we will have a very tough time matching it. Here are the people we should definitely try to get.

  • Charles Woodson (obviously)
  • Host - Rich Eisen (Sklar was great, but Rich would take it to another level - Dana Jacobson if Rich is not available)
  • Jordan Klepper - a big Michigan fan
  • Kate Upton
  • Big Sean - in person this time
  • Steve Hutchinson
  • Chad Henne
  • David Harris
  • Ty Law
  • Darth Vader
  • Lucy Liu
  • DITKA!!!

...and a little video appearance by Madonna would be nice.

What do you think? Who else can we get?

Klepper should host. It would be good exposure for him (so he would probably put a good amount of effort into it) and he has some close family members that went to U of M. I don't know if Eisen would provide the same comedic relief.

I am up at night speculating on the host of a variety/awards/recruiting show that is not even on TV and is one year away. Thus is the power of Harbaugh.

Does anyone know of a way to watch the event now? I know it's hard to believe, but wednesday afternoon isn't the most ideal time to watch an event like that for some people.

Lou really did carry the show (as Harbaugh acknowledged more than once). His prep, commentary and comic relief were all outstanding. He needs to be a UofM SOTS lifer. Guest stars, cameos, via satellite, etc: Rick Neuheisel (singer/songwriter) Mr. T and Hulk Hogan (next year's Ric Flair) Ben Stiller (compliments Owen Wilson) Mark Wohlberg Barack and Michelle Obama Steve Yzerman Andrew Luck Rick Leach Frank Gore Mark Harmon Warde Manuel Random past Miss Michigan Ciara Holly Holm (Harbaugh bound to connect somehow) Replace Shanahan with Ditka.

with one of the recruiting analysts that actually follow Michigan.  Would have been nice for the kids to actually hear a positive scouting report  from someone familiar with them.  McShay made every kids sound like a seventh rounder on draft day.

So they should invite Jason Statham, if Russell cant make it, and while they are at it....
