Solution for UM at pg and she is already on campus

Have you seen this girl play? She is a studette. Big time. Plays like Magic Johnson if you ask me. What a baller. Any way she can play for the mens team since it seems like this is the environment now. Regardless, I will be watching her. Just saw some tape on her and is she fun to watch. Big time.

She has size, 6 ft. Great vision and handle. Can rebound. Best pg on campus. :)

I.e. you're unaware that we have possibly the best defensive point guard in the country in Xavier Simpson. . . and weren't interested in doing the tiniest bit of homework before posting something that trashed him.

I have a daughter, and have come to follow lots of women's sports in my companionship with her. And EVEN ME you insulted!

Possibly is a stretch although my OP wasn't an attempt to disparage Simspon. Lot of sensitivity here toward his shooting I guess.

My OP was to make the observation that she is really good. Runs the PG like a Magic Johnson type and removing gender she is the best pg on campus. That doesn't mean the other pg's aren't good or that her style couldn't help out the UM mens team.

She is good. If I could go into a gender neutral machine, I would take her over all other pg's on campus. Watch her play. I would take her over a lot of UM point guards including Darius Morris. I would still take Walton and Burke over her right now but she is on the rise. Quite the talent.

I am sorry I offended members of the Simpson fan club. Thank you to Simpson for all his contributions so far in his career. Maybe he isn't the best pg in the country but by no means does that make him a poor pg. Enjoy watching him play. Also rooting for DDJ to improve throughout his career.

Will be keeping an eye on Dilk. Big fan.

You have everyone negging you, and pointing out that your post is dumb. And you continue to argue for your post.

Iife advice we all should heed:

One person calls you a dumbass,  brush it off.

Two people call you a dumbass, start evaluation your actions.

Everyone calls you a dumbass, accept it, apologize, and try to be better.

Or, everyone calls you a dumbass and you remain indignant. This just cements your dumbassery.

What about an internet message board that acts like an echo chamber where you don't necessarily find the most enlightened people. If I were on some 'redneck' board advocating for moderate policies regarding many different economic and social issues and people 'negged' away. Should that discourage me from my viewpoint?

Let me know.

Thing is, I’m not saying that your opinion on whether or not this young lady could be the solution for anything on the men’s team is necessarily wrong. I haven’t seen her play, I don’t know.

What i am negging and crapping on is your presentation of that argument.

Let me ask you plainly-do you feel that this young lady would be a better PG for the men’s team than any of the current guys in that position?

If you say definitely yes, then we can have a discussion about that opinion

If you are unable to say that you feel she would be a better player than any of the men’s teams current PGs, then you are just here posting dumbass posts that don’t make any sense, and continuing to go to bat for your dumb posts. Definition of a troll.

I am going to agree with this. When I was in high school, I had a classmate that was a girls all American that wound up starting multiple years for a D-1 national title contender.

When she was a senior, she would probably not have started for our boys JV team.

What, exactly, is this “environment” that you’re referring to?
