Of course I'm serious. If we made the playoffs this year against Bama we would lose by 40 likely, and if gladly take that and the Big Ten title along the way. And luck or execution Sparty and OSU are both pointing at the scoreboard when we say anything.

And what I stated about the refereeing, I'll need a little help from someone with a better memory, but I seem to recall a major blunder or two happened that cost Michigan dearly, along with a few other questionable calls.

Thanks to our defense, we had every opportunity to win; we didn't get it done.

But there are a lot of life long domers and it's not a tough sell to go there if you are from the Midwest. I don't think it matters who the coach is they will always get recruits

and you might notice a significant number of catholic HS's. They begin recruiting at the HS level which then (often) feeds into ND recruiting. HS coaches have an influence on the recruitment of their players. It's as much about the HS feeder schools as it is about ND.
