So how did Glasgow perform in the senior bowl?

Submitted by WichitanWolverine on

I did some googling and couldn't really find much about Glasgow's performance in yesterday's senior bowl. Can anyone who watched give some info? We had seen reports that his stock was rising in practice, but I was wondering how he looked in the game specifically.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I guess I only caught a few plays where he got beat pretty badly.  Actually got a decent review.

"The 6-foot-6, 306-pound Glasgow was one of the stars of the East-West Shrine, and Glasgow kept up the strong play the Senior Bowl. He was one of the only centers who could win one-on-ones with some of the top interior defensive talents like Alabama's Jarran Reed. Glasgow was consistent throughout the week. He held his won in the pass-rushing one-on-ones and looked very good in the team scrimmage sessions. With his size, Glasgow could compete at guard or center in the NFL.

Glasgow's huge all-star game performances puts him in the thick of the top center competition with other players like Alabama's Ryan Kelly, Notre Dame's Zack Martin, and USC's Max Tuerk. "

Very well. He was both center and right guard. Blocked extremely well in pass, and did effective second level blocking on just about every run play. Team North's offense didn't fare as well.

Glasgow did well, but then North's D didn't do so well.  He certainly did better than ND's Martin who was losing a blocking assignment even as the talking heads sang his praises.

On a side note, a Jason Garrett coached team continues to struggle in the post season.

The good thing is that even just having a good practice week is what matters. All the NFL scouts leave before the game, they only want to see the players run drills and practice all week.
