SI article about OSU expected Tues at noon
That was just dumb.
Michigania,
As a student at Michigan right now, could you please shut up. You're making us look bad. A Michigan fan is a Michigan fan whether or not they went to school in Ann Arbor.
Michigania, fuck you. I didn't go to U of M, I went to Western. But both my parents went to U of M and raised me as a Wolverine and taught me to keep Saturdays in the fall reserved for the Winged helmet. I was born in Ann Arbor, was raised in Ann Arbor and lived 20 years of my life in Ann Arbor. As a kid, I was a ball boy for the U of M women's basketball team for 3 years and the Men's team for 1 year. I worked for the University of Michgan Rec Department for 3 years. I've turned down job offers because one of the requirements was working on Saturdays and I've missed weddings because it was during a game.
So what in the world makes you think you understand more about Michigan tradition than me? Why does your 4 years of going to U of M trump my entire life of being a Michigan fan? You better fix you backwards MSU-like thought process that only alumni can be true fans, because its as far from the truth as possible...jackass.
"Walmart Wolverines" > Colossal douchebag alums...
If that makes him a Walmart Wolverine, I for one would rather have one of him rooting for my team than a hundred flaming douche alums like you. Get off my blog.
You've managed to unite the MGoBlog community like I've never seen before.
I know that this is the real reason you've sacrificed your reputation and I applaud your noble actions.
Tressell...he's a dead man
Smith...dead
Gee...dead.
Now, who's with me for watching this all go down.
Let's gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the question is whether Tressel will have the time to fire Gee before Tressel is fired.
Can we get a clockdown clock in here???
I'm with you. The one I hate the most out of all those clowns is Gordon Gee. Just seeing these ignorant rats get nailed is all I ask for. !
The news about the news is that there is no new news in which case the news isn't new so the news we knew about the news we want to peruse is true.

'sup gnus?
All of that made my ears tired.
You read aloud to yourself.
All the news is good ga-news with Gary Gnus.
Now in May, June and July. Can't wait to open up the box with free cars, rent, girls and probation due to the lack of institutional control. Throw in a show cause and it's like a fantasy progressive insurance commercial. The school down south seems to be into bundling it's violations.

The best thing will be the press conference where the university board fires the school president, athletic director and little red sweater vest. Adter that the mass exodus of biblical proportions. This is the gift that keeps on giving. Thank you very much NCAA. I forgive you.
This has to be the most highly-anticipated piece they have ever done. Nothing like a little Christmas in May...
Live blog, anyone?
Will there be live coverage of Tressel on his march to the gallows of his career?
Are you suggesting an OSU snuff film?
....and it could be on general release to all Big Ten schools for their amusement and to the SEC as a cautionary tale.
Consider this my formal agreement to go into business with you.
Now we just need to collect footage and get interviews and hire actors for re-enactments and the like....the result should make the directors of the sweeping epics throughout history proud.
A perp walk for Tressel? Count me in.
to fire Tressel.... And the other part of the school might even be more corrupt in their playground of friends and family.
THE CROWD GOES WILD!
(Symphonie Fantastique by Berlioz, Mvt. 4, "March to the Scaffold")It actually kicks ass. Fantastic to play, too.
The worst thing to me is that with the alleged cheating that has been going on at tsio I feel like "The Rivalry" has been tainted. It needs to be cleaned up so that "The Game" feels real again.
I agree that the UM needs a strong rival in tsio. Hopefully the cornhuskers will fill that role during the time tsio spends in Bolivia.
"The Game" and the rivalry will feel real again once OSU has to pay for their corruption. That is the first step to getting everything back on track from a moral standpoint. Michigan also needs to start looking like Michigan again.
In the meantime, some major humiliation and pain is what America's worst fan base needs after a decade of pounding their chests while cheating their way to wins and championships.
..... for a liveblog. After all the crap we've been through, it will be nice to have popcorn with comrades and watch the destruction of Mordor. Well worth getting fired for.
Moe, you're a nerd, I love it. Theoretical plus one.
Meh, to me this is like Wedge Antilles getting the money shot into the power station of the second death star.
I'm feeling like this may be a little too much hype for one article. Although there can never be enough hype about the Bucks destroying themselves, how do we know this isn't just some retread of all of the other articles we've been reading lately?
How do we know you ask?
Because SI sent in George Dohrman to do the piece. George is the journalistic equal to Luca Brasi and you don't send your best killer in and have him stay over 6 weeks unless you have a very important job to do.
Right Moe?
but not the illustration, as Luca ends up "sleeping with the fishes" after attempting to go undercover for Don Vito!
but this particular SI writer is well known for his investigative pieces... so I'm going to believe (hope) that this, too, will be hard-hitting and insightful, with the end-result being further pain and discomfort for tOSU
On Dohrmann's blog, he does cite some apparent violations of NCAA rules by Thad Matta, the BB team coach.
A vote AGAINST a liveblog. Sure, it's fun in a schadenfreude sort of way, but let's not stoop to that level. It's intriguing and exciting that our rival is getting hit with all of these allegations, but it shouldn't be treated like a party. That'd be the equivalent of those drunk Americans who partied in the streets when Osama was killed.
You DON'T want to be this girl:
But a liveblog doesn't have to be a celebratory thing. IIRC, we liveblogged parts of the Jihad (specifically the MSC/RR Presser). A liveblog is more about the quick dissemination of information in one place for an event that is going to generate a lot of interest.
It would be up to the LiveBlog Mods to minimize the OMG WE WON O$U $UCK$ USA USA talk...
What? You don't like a good USA chant?
What do you think I am, a Moran?
...gets old.
